Hi all.. I'm ashamed to say the reason my friend wanted to go out today is that she'd bought me an extra Christmas present, well made me a Christmas Eve hamper, and she wanted to give me it away from our other friend . We're going out for tea tomorrow night and are having a £5 secret santa between us then.

Whilst in town, I nipped into PoundWorld and got OH three more presents for his stocking (rules are: max £10 spend, min of 10 presents, max cost £1 each - I've been struggling!).

OH came with me to my grandparents after picking me up from town. He's ace - he makes good conversation with them and everything! We picked up our Christmas cake plus lots of baking (mince pies, coconut tarts etc).

OH is now cooking tea - he's not happy I insisted on chips not wedges but I want to put lashings of salt and vinegar on the chips! I'm wrapping all the presents tonight if it kills me.. could be in for a late night! :cool:

ahhh why can some people on ebay be a nightmare??? they have not paid so i relisted item and he has now left me neg feedback stating he hasnt recieved item!!!! also a few abusive emails! i give up lol!!!(it has been a week)

Charlie has just stood up himself unaided he was looking at me laughing and i was clapping my hands etc like an idiot hahaha!! going to stick some pasta on as im starving really want to add some stilton to it mmmmmmm i know its a big NOOOOOOO but why do we crave things we cant have??

caz some people are just like that Report him as a non paying bidder and I think the neg feedback will be removed automatically... If not then report him after you have reported the non paying bidder bit and leave a polite feedback of: Non-payer, very abusive mails, reported to Ebay.

I'm so gutted! OH just sneaked up behind me when I was hiding his presents in the bedroom so now he knows where they are! It was the one safe place I thought he would never think to look... I can actually feel tears coming!

Awww elle... can't you speak to the neighbours and ask them to hold on to them for you? At least I know DH would never dream of peeking at his... Even if this year he knows what he's getting :rotfl: hohum

thats me fed and a whole shortbread round only went to have a bit lol!!

have reported guy to ebay and left response to his feedback but am so angry! msg him back to say i was forwarding his abusive emails to the police and its all went quiet!

well i think i better have a quick clean and get on with a few bits before visitors tom! although i havent heard back from her yet to say she is def coming??

I'm sat bawling my eyes out watching Noels Christmas Presents *sigh* - thank crunchie for multistart :rotfl:

I decided to have simple dinner of pasta with grated cheese... yum!
DH has gone to the music quiz with the neighbours down the pub - I never do well when it's the music one so quite content to be at home on my own with Noel and cookies heehee
Might even wrap a few pressies and venture up the loft for the christmas decorations...

i want to stop coughing it really hurts now ... i dont do well with illness to begin with so its 10x worse now, DD has come down with it now and its her birthday tomorrow as well hoping she sleeps off most of it bless her... mind you i want to sleep it off to x

I'm going to take the presents to my mum's.. I'm not sure what upsets me most - that he knows or how gutted yet silly I feel!

What's everyone having for a starter on xmas day? Normally we'd have prawn cocktail or pate but both out this year. I am still contemplating having the prawns but OH doesn't like them so I'm on the look out for other suggestions.

elle we have decided to miss out the starter for that reason really plus i make so much main it would be better for us(me!) if we had a main and pudding! might make a pot of soup though so we can have that later or next day if we feel like it???

oh no searching i have always been told honey helps to ease a sore throat and a cough! worth a go!! poor you and DD what a shame she is ill for her birthday! usually i am ill over christmas but luckily i have had it all already and touch wood that will be me!
