Oh lordy, I've just burst into tears at the repeat of the Strictly result!

Have got to get ready to go finish my shopping and meet my friend for a cuppa at 3pm. She's been very needy lately (split up with her bf in June) and sent me a "can we meet up for coffee, but I won't tell you why.." email last week. I'm not into surprises so I'm kinda dreading it. It's bound to be some mad plan to get her ex bf back (or get back at him!) :o Sorry if that sounds selfish but mad-cap ideas for revenge are not at the top of my priorities list right now..

  • I think spontaneous fits of tears are all part of the preggers parcel.

Shame cos I work in a male orientated envrionment and tears do not mix. At least no radio where I am cos there always seems to be a song I wanna blub to, lol

  • I love hearing your random crying stories!! Makes me feel good because about 4 months ago I had to admit to sobbing after watching a You've Been Framed Clip :o

We have made a gingerbread christmas tree this afternoon - loads of different size stars piled up on top of each other - only to find that I haven't got any green food colouring. Sent hubby out on a mercy mission before I explain to DSS that he can have a blue christmas tree or a red one (or white I guess!!)

C'mon baby SB - we are all waiting to see you :T :D

    Hi all

Well I have just got back from what I can only describe as the worst experience of the year..........Shopping in ASDA!!!!!!! It was horrific. I usually get my shopping delivered but forgot to book a slot and both Asda and Tesco were booked up. I will not make that mistake again!!!!

I am now officially 'all set' (whatever that means) for Christmas.

Hypnu - I had bleeding from 10 weeks to 19weeks on and off, I am now 28+3 and babs is kicking hell out of me as i'm tyoing..... It does not always mean bad news, however my two pregnancies directly before this one did end in mc before 12wks, so as you can imagine I was petrified. I had already had 2 kiddies, so was convinced there was now something wrong me....All seems well now though.
It is perfectly natural to 'check' everytime you go the loo, I was obsessed!

    Mel x

well I've been good today! We went swimming for a bit this morning (then ruined it by having a McD :rotfl:) which btw is blooming difficult when you have a pregnant belly and big boobs! Built in flotation devices at the top and leadweight half way down... doesn't make it easy to stay horizontal in the water - actually felt like a weeble, kept righting myself up lol.
Feeling knackered now though so might have to go for a wee nap... mmmm
As for crying stories... when I had my HR meeting I was blubbing away - trying to re-assure HR and my manager that it wasn't anything personal and I wasn't actually upset I just could stop for some reason... Was really annoying at the time :)

Hello peeps, been a busy day for me, just at the in-laws as been to FIL's church he was leading the carol service, Christopher decided his pops must be lonely up at the front so decided to go and join him :A he helped to light the candles on the advent crown, then he made a little friend called Abbie they were sat together in the aisle reading her teletubbies book it was so cute I had tears in my eyes!

Ps those rolo doughnuts are also avail from Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury's ;)

  • Mel - I am not looking forward to Christmas food shopping at all. Especially not with hubby in tow. I don't mind it taking me 3 or 4 hours but he will have a face like thunder if it takes that long!

Been trying to write a list so I can stay focussed!

Sami - forgot to say earlier, how cute that Chris is so excited by his sibling :T lets hope he stays that way when baby arrives.

MrsT - glad you enjoyed your swim. Just watch out for the breaststroke legs - not a good idea if you have any pelvic pain. And hang on to your bump as you get out - it needs support after all that time being supported by the water.
I have swum and done aquanatal since 13 weeks (not supposed to swim before 12 weeks  ) and in the water is the only place that I don't feel like I am carrying a huge lump around with me. I am positively graceful (no mention of the hippos on the BBC ad please :rotfl: )
