Hi - Budget Insurance and Post Office Insurance are one and the same so proving your NCD with Budget to the satisfaction of Post Office should not be difficult.Tell them to put their !!!!!! in gear and RH talk to LH !

Well I called PO today. They told me that the 28 days starts ofter the 14 day cooling off period.
However the website definitely stipulates:
* Terms and conditions of £50 cash back offer
1. A £50 Postal Order will be sent within 28 days of the start of your policy.
2. Offer applies to new customers only.
3. This offer may be withdrawn without notice at any time.
4. Post Office Ltd reserves the right to reclaim the £50 cash back if you cancel your policy within 12 months of the policy start date.
Has anybody received their £50 yet? I feel I'm being fobbed off and don't particularly want to call their recommended 0845 number to pursue this query.0 -

Hi,
We received our £50 last week, which was just over a week after the policy started.0 -
Well still no sign of the £50. Sent a letter, no response. Finally resorted to calling their 0845 number and they will look into it and it could take another 20 days. Am I the only unlucky person?0

we rang up last night and got told that offer only applys if you have a code and that you can not got the £50 cashback over the internet so we ask to speak to the supervisor who said the girl was wrong and we will get in a month or so.0

On a completely different note, how does one put photos as avatars? All my photos are too big. Is it easy to downsize them?0 -
ive got a cheap quote from the post office for my car insurance which im going to take out so i registered with topcashback and it says £16.50p i go to the post office link through their site but instead of retrieving a quote i thought it might not work so i requoted but it never mentions anything about cashback from topcashback? and how/when do they send it you?
allthough the £50 from PO is a nice touch0 -
If you get it! I'm still waiting, well past the 28 day mark.keeny wrote:allthough the £50 from PO is a nice touch0 -
I bought the policy before 31 march, it came into force on 1 April, haven't heard anything since. I phoned them yesterday and there is a prerecorded message saying that the policy needs to be in force for 14 days then you receive the £50 within 28 days from here. Has anyone received their money who took a policy out late in March?
Thanks
Flo0
