Hi
I went on the Quidco website and i read this statement for the post office:
Please note: Although the vast majority of transactions are tracked successfully, the network currently responsible for this merchant has decided to only pay 50% for any successful enquiries on missing transactions. We have expressed our dissatisfaction to the network and are doing everything we can to improve this situation.
what does the above mean? it says it will pay out £45 but does the above statement mean that u will get £22:50 now? The reason i'm asking is that Rpoints are offering £25:00 cashback0 -
no it means that if there are 100 missing transactions then they'll only pay out for 50 of them.0

can some one give me the code for the £50 off PO insurance as mine is working out cheap with them. Even cheaper if i can get the code for £50 off.0
-
No code is needed.Take out their policy and £50.00 in postal orders will be sent 2-3 weeks later as explained in the conditions on their site. And it does work because my daughter took out a policy thru them and the PO's turned up OK.
Hurry Hurry Hurry - offer closes 31.03.06

If you already have a PO car insurance policy do you miss out on the offer. My Dad has a policy which runs out on 9th April, in fact he's just had his renewal reminder through the post. I take it he won't qualify for the cashback0
-
No, the offer is open to new customers only, and the offer ends on 31/03/06.
However, they have offere on more or less all the time, so it may be as well him going back as a "new" customer at renewal.
And the code if you call is MBRA04, by the way.
But you have to quote that BEFORE you proceed with the quote.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Guys,
Tried everywhere for cheap insurance and i found Privilege to be the cheapest by a mile for by my X-type and the wife's A- class merc. I have just renewed my insurance with them for the jag, so out of interest i went to both admiral and the post office to see how they compared.
Privilege:-£499
Admiral:- £758
Post office:- £682
So even with the post office and quidco money neither comes anywhere near. It is fair to say that it is a lottery, some people will be better off and some won't. Privilege however will guarantee to beat any renewal quote you may have.
Oh forgot to mention, when the renewal came through from privilege I checked it against the website and found their web price to be some £70 cheaper. Phoned them and they said it was due to web prices being better and they couldn't match it, so i renewed through the website, much cheaper.
Hope this helps.:coffee:0 -
Just thought I would get a quote from PO car insurance, who would turndown £50 for a reasonable premium?
Well, I would. The quote I was given is 4 times my renewal quote with my current insurer!
Oh well. Better luck next time. :rolleyes:Sometimes I feel like a pelican. Whichever way I turn, I've still got an enormous bill in front of me.0
