I don't know as I was insuring a car but I would suggest you run a quote and see whether it's a yes or a no.
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!
  • I tried it but didnt get anywhere, got a few quotes from quotezone.co.uk instead thanks to this site! Saved me about 100 quid i think

  • With regards to this insurance business., thru THE POST OFFICE.
All rather confusing when trying to buy on line, through the Post Office.
Last week, bought Car insurance, obviously taking advantage of a referral site, and the Post Office own £50 Cashback offer.
This week trying to buy Buildings & Contents Insurance, on-line, through the Post Office. But this is not possible, as they deem that because you have taken one policy with them, that you are now their customer, so you have a standard policy number.
When filling out the quote application for Buildings & Contents, this is unable to be completed on line ??
Subsequently called the given telephone number, spoke to Customer Services, who then proceeded to make out another quote??
The whole crux of the exercise, is ON-LINE QUOTED £118.85p.
    TELEPHONE QUOTE £154.00
So, the system works, in "guiding" policy holding clients away from the ON-LINE to obtaining a TELEPHONE QUOTE, which is much more expensive.
Still awaiting any e-mail replies, as directed!!

DH just took out car insurance through post office website and they are offering £50 cash back before the 31 March.

They were also the cheapest quote.

I noticed this this morning but found Screentade to be even cheaper.

And if you use Quidco with them, you get £45 for Post Office and £55 for Screentrade.

I saw this today too. My insurance is up for renewal. I've been via confused.com and have a very good idea what the cheapest quotes are, so I'll see how the PO do and use the Quidco cashback offer too.
    Happy chappy

Yes but you also get £50 with the Post Office! So £50 Post Office and £45 through Quidco is £95.00 off the quote which is virtually impossible to beat!
