Go to www.quidco.com (register 1st time and login)
Then once logged in use their link to Barclays Home insurance.

.
The quote you get has the £50 taken off the amount, at least it did when I got a quote yesterday.0 -

Are you sure that's the case? I took up this offer when I renewed yesterday, and paid the amount quoted. The T&Cs then say they send you the £50 by Postal Order within 28 days, so I can't see how it was deducted from your quote already?0 -

I got my quote via confused.com, it was £146.79. Went into the Post office site via the link on Confused to look at the policy closer and it was quoted at £196.79 so I assumed that was the case.0 -
Yes, when you go into the Post Office site and give further details that does appear to add around £50 to the insuresupermarket quote. That's what happened in my case too.Beancounter wrote:The quote you get has the £50 taken off the amount, at least it did when I got a quote yesterday.
It's still a good price for that VW Polo though.0 -
soz if this has been posted before, not seen it ...
Post office are offering 50 quid in postal orders on a new car insurance policy, which made them the best value for me by 20%. £16.50 from quidco also0 -
Thanks, but soo annoying. Only renewed today with its4me. They were 20 quid cheaper but with this cashback the PO would have been better
Oh well, there's always next year :wall:0 -
Just wanted to say I have just renewed my car insurance and having worked through Martins advice, the Post Office came out top and in addition said I would get £50 cash back. The policy is better than many as it includes things like European travel. Well this morning I got my £50 cash back in under the 28 days quoted. I'm one happy bunny. It was hassle free. I recommend it.:T0
