post office are new to the car and home insurance markets and so there quotes are low anyway at the moment. simply call 0800 169 6500 for either. definately recommend the home insurance- they cut my renewal quote in half!
any way quote 3584275 for the response code and MBRA04 for the promotion code.
50 quid on its way!!

I just tried the post office cos the woman at the counter said they would price match. I used confused.com and got a price of £172 whilst the post office could only offer £296 (with a higher excess)Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Take out a motor insurance policy with the Post Office before 31st March 2006 and get £50 cash back
More details at http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/jump2?catId=19300223&mediaId=19300227
Not sure what their premiums are like, but with this you get £50 lee-way at least
The cash back comes via a Postal Order of all things - I didn't think such things existed any more!!0 -

Yup!!!
Saved me £75 over my current insurer... plus a nice £50 cashback!! Just in time for my birthday next month.
You can get another £50 cashback too if you get their home insurance, and, its very good value!
I'll be doing that next month!!0 -
Not totally sure but I think you might be able to make another £20 - £40 if you place your order via TopCashBack. Worth a try. Clean your cookies before you do an order this way, to ensure TCB can track your order.
Rpoints also have PO insurance cashbacks, though a little lower than TCB.
Both sites also have cashback deals for other insurers.0 -
Just had memo about cashback - if you terminate your contract before the end of the 12 months, they may ask for you to return the cashback!
Also, (to prevent people setting up policies just for the cashback, I presume), the policy must run for a minimum of 14 days, or you will not receive the cashback. (you should receive within 28 days of policy start date).
Just so you know, there is no point in waiting till the 15th day to cancel if you are thinking of doing this, as you would be charged a cancellation fee of £35!
Just a quick heads up on anyone considering this (I had thought about it myself before I got the T&Cs!).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
