Linemypocket:innovate wrote:Not totally sure but I think you might be able to make another £20 - £40 if you place your order via TopCashBack. Worth a try. Clean your cookies before you do an order this way, to ensure TCB can track your order.
Rpoints also have PO insurance cashbacks, though a little lower than TCB.
Both sites also have cashback deals for other insurers.
I think this offer can be used through all cashback sites, but I agree that there are much better cashbacks around, especially through TopCashBack ...£50 Cash Plus £22.50 Cashback When You Swich Car Insurance To The Post Office.0 -
Topcashback actually state
"....Earn cashback from £15.00 to £45.00 for insurance ......"
So Linemypocket is probably safer bet, right?0 -
I have been doing the rounds for new car insurance and came up with a quote from the post office for £170 fully comp. The cheapest other quotes were around the £160 mark...but...heres the best bit...... if you get car insurance before 31st March the PO will send you a £50 postal order, so effectively my fully comp car insurance would be a rather bargain £120!!!!! :jDebt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0

Plus take it via a cashback site like Quidco for even more cashback - although been told PO insurance has been so popular with affiliates/ cashback sites that they are looking at cutting back on commissionAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

I've just arrange car insurance for my DD2's car through the Post Office as it was one of the cheapest and best quotes I found + there's the £50 postal order too :j
My own car was up for renewal too , but the quote from the Post Office wasn't that good so have gone with Barclays as that was very good + cashback tooSame old same old since 20080 -
im a post office addict!!
ive got my car insurance with them, it was about £8 off my best quote, but with the £50 cashback, it was a steal!!
ive got my home insurance with them, same story, few pounds off best quote but with the £50 cashback, a bargain!!
and ive got my home phone with the post office too, cheaper calls than bt option 1, cheaper line rental than bt plus another £50 off your bills in the first 6 months!
the post office is a money savers haven! no comprimise with service either, ive been very impressed!
considering getting 1 of their credit cards when my 0% expires. its 0% for 6 months on bt and purchases, with no bt fee!0 -
Thanks for the quidco tip...thats another £15 off!! lolDebt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0

I switched to Post Office and can't fault them on price and quality of cover - They really deserve to make this a success as they have been the easiest Insurance Company I have ever dealt with. They have obviously thought and asked customers what they want on all this, and delivered!
FYI the company behind PO Car Insurace also do Marks and Spencer's, who funnily enough charge a lot more for the same cover!0 -
Hi - please be fair about the M & S cover which includes full breakdown cover and as far as i remember legal expenses as well so thats worth about another £90.00.0
-
All those items are avaliable on PO as well. I did 2 identical quotes and M&S was more expensive, even after the cash back offer they were running at the time.
It works all round. Egg and Tesco both use UK Insurance Limited, but the quotes dont match between the two.0
