Hi Tomstickland
Do you mind me asking when your renewal is. Is it after March as the offer closes on 31st March? Mine is 10th April so Im not sure how to best catch this right?0 -
wilcock1 wrote:Yes but you also get £50 with the Post Office! So £50 Post Office and £45 through Quidco is £95.00 off the quote which is virtually impossible to beat!
Mine was £108 more withe the PO than with Screentrade, so for me it was possible to beat, and by quite a bit. £412.04 from the PO, £303.68 from Screentrade.0 -
Well, I've been quoted £297 on PO versus £280 on Confused.com, with the £95 cashback the PO offer is the best.
Car ins run out in May, so I might have to miss this offer because I need to preserver the NCB.
I've just looked at home insurance too and it's going to cost me £100 per year for contents ins, or £160 if I include expensive mountain bike. They also offer £50 PO cashback on home insurance.Happy chappy0 -
I've purchased my mums insurance today through the post office, was quoted £98.88 for the year. Using the £50 cashback plus £45 from quidco (just hope it is paid) she will end up paying £3.88 for a years insurance!!!
Can anybody top that?0 -
Hi
Simon 123, I think the post office offer of £50 is for BOTH Contents and Buildings insurance.
Check before you buy.0 -
I think the Post Office is offering 50 cashback for car PLUS 50 for home insurance. Their quote was competitive

Quidco - is a cashback site - Martin has an article on these see the top of the page. In a nutshell - they get money for introducing a customer from the retailers who use them - they pass on all or a % of this to the actual customer (you) - Quidco get a good write up since they operate a cooperative (with a £5 pa charge) and you get 100% of the money back - this may be 3% of spend or £30.0 -
you can also go through Greasypalm for Post Office car insurance with £50 cashback
and get 22.50 cashback also 2.50 cashback to register with them if you are not already
