incredibly ive got my 12k refunded.Id wrote it off tbh.Hope everyone gets sorted, ive had 5 days of stress and need a new kitchen again but one things for sure i pay for it when its delivered and fitted and up working with no bits fitted AND i will never pay on debit card again, never been keen on credit cards but im going out to get one asap.Good luck everyone im out of here...

I cancelled my bathroom through MFI directly on Wednesday lunchtime - hours before they collapsed and ordered it direct from MFI Bathrooms. Due delivery of new bathroom suite imminently so really pleased.

MFI say they processed my refund of around £1,000 on the wednesday but nothing as of yesterday appeared in my account.

I though it was all going to get trapped up in the their frozen accounts

Just checked and received refund through from Wednesday today - am so pleased!

To those in same situation, check your bank accounts now

well i finally got through to the help line and yes MFI can give me my new kitchen , BUT only HALF of it !! SURPRISE SURPRISE.
i paid 2,700 in cash . ( wont be doing that again ) . iv creid buckets this morning, but the tears have gone and the boxing gloves are out!!!
iv had another look on there site and i wont be finding out untill MONDAY 15TH DECEMBER if im to get my money back ..... help

Hope someone can help - I am having an MFI kitchen fitted this week not by MFI Fitters though.

We are outstanding the beech upstand that matches our beech worktop, it was due to arrive tomorrow which is now not going to happen. I can go through the refund process but I really need to get my hands on the upstand to get the fitters to install - does anyone know where MFI gets their wood so I can go direct?

For bits like MFI kitchens, try local Howdens. You do need a trade account to buy from there so ask around.

We have managed to get the exact same kitchen as ordered from MFI for only £100 more expensive - given all the hassle going on with MFI , we havent actually been told if we will receive ANYTHING - Howdens are now deilvering our exact kitchen in two days time, with stronger carcasses and the units are already built so much better

Definately find your local Howdens and ask the question.

Hi there all, i am sorry to hear that most of you guys have bought Kitchens & are seeking a refund or have only had part of it delivered of fitted.

I also am extremley annoyed with mfi at the moment, i am a fitter and have been for the last 4 years for mfi, i have fitted at least 7 kitchens in the last 3 months and have not got paid for any, thats all they have done for the past few weeks is fob me off, firstly telling me i would be paid within 7 working days of the 4th Nov, (no payment) and have just continued to fob me off ever since, i cannot get any sense from anyone, i have emailed the administrators, thats all i got back was a standard e-mail which told me nothing, i to have bills to pay, can anyone help me, or give me any advice on what to do next.

Went into Crewe MFI store sunday bought a bathroom suite ex display £126 paid by debit card.I offered to take it down and take it away there and then. The assistant said call in in the next few days we will take it down for you I couldnt do it for 'health and safety reasons' Called today and of course the store is now closed and the 'helplines' 08448008663,0876075054 ,01405744813 are useless??
What can I do now ???? apart from wave goodbye to £126 which I cant afford to do???
