hi, the walker group have only purchased the mfi brand label. im afraid your mfi warranty is not worth a light unless its with the appliace manufacturer..sorry...:(:(:(:(:(:(0

The warranty will definitely not be transferable, I'm afraid. This is a common thing - for a company to shut and reopen, or be taken over - the warranty is limited only to the original retailer, or the manufacturer in the case of certain appliances sold with a longer warranty.
If the Victoria Plumb company has bought MFI I will be avoiding them as they have a pretty bad reputation. It seems a bit foolish to buy the 'brand' though - all the shops and stock have gone, and it's not as if they had a quality image anyway.0
