MFI delivered most of my kitchen in September but Fridge freezer was faulty. This was collected on 12th November with promise of delivery of new fridge freezer 17 December - which obviously never happened.
Unfortunately, no collection note was given to me 12 November and now Tesco credit card are refusing to process charge back. They are also refusing to contact "charge.back@mfi.co.uk" for credit card issuers queries on administrators website. My emails to charge.back@mfi.co.uk are coming back undeliverable - does anyone have any ideas please?

Up until recently MCR (the administrators) have told us that people who paid by credit cards are to claim that back from their credit card supplier via Section 75 and for us cash buyers there was £30M in the kitty to distribute betwen us.
Now they've posted the following; it's bullet point 2 that I don't understand. Does it mean they've given the money to the Credit Card companies?
CASH, CHEQUE AND NON-VISA CARD PAYMENTS
Customer paying by cash, cheque or non-VISA debit cards are non-preferential unsecured creditors and under the order of priority set out in IA86 there is no prospect of them receiving any funds either now or in the future.
However, there remains a possibility that funds may be set aside from any surplus held by the Company’s merchant services provider for customers falling into this class of creditor but:- The Joint Administrators have no control over the funds.
- Before the surplus is known these funds are subject to charge-backs from customers who have paid by Credit Card and VISA debit card pursuant to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the level of these remains to be determined. The Joint Administrators have no control over the level or quantum of charge-backs.
- Any distribution of funds would require the agreement of other stakeholders in the Company who under IA86 have a prior ranking interest; and
- The Joint Administrators cannot give any assurance as timescales; however, based upon current information there is unlikely to be any update before October 2009.

All the people who paid by cash or cheque all now look to have been conned as the administrators have changed the rules, I bet most people are still waiting to get refunded as earlier promised, it is up to us to try to get this situation highlighted to see why there has been a U turn, we should not take this lying down. This is like a legal fraud that has happened to us.!!!0

Hi
Has anybody who has a partial order and paid through Blackhorse been contacted by the administrators yet? I have emailed them several times but never had a reply. Blackhorse were pretty useless and said I need to contact mfi administrators.
Just wondered of anybody had heard from them yet to 'agree' a partial reduction in amount owing to Blackhorse!!!0 -
I have wrote an email too - and never had a reply just an automated response - it seems to me that they have just dismissed the cash buyers without any proper explaination as to where the previously mentioned £30,000,000 went nor any explaination of where the £60,000,000 of stock sales have gone - I would like to do something too, but there seems to be nowhere to ask or get answers - any ideas from anyone how to proceed in getting any explaination, since no-one is answering any correspondence?0

I wrote an e-mail too, just automated response. Mfi Took my debit card payment, the day before they went under, it was still going through the banking system when the news broke but our bank could not stop it, I thought this is an illegal action on behalf of mfi. Maybe the directors could be prosecuted I think it maybe fraud0
