MFI Administration article discussion

Received full refund from A&L but on the letter confirming it it says...

"if any of the charges are found to be valid (due to additional information provided by the merchant bank), your account will be charged again"

Where do i stand as iv an incomplete bedroom which is good for nothing at the minute?

If they charge me agin, when would it would be ?

I havnt posted before, but have been reading with interest. My son paid £6000 for an undelivered kitchen by cheque and wanted to collect it as it was due the following week - but as expected this wasnt possible. It just seems fraudulant to me, and I cannot understand how this could happen, that someone has bought the kitchens that were on order, is going to sell them on and the monies are not going to be paid back to the customers who paid for them. Maybe I am making 1+1 = 2 - but the £30,000,000 that was first mentioned seems to no longer mentioned, this further £68,000,000 doesnt seem to equate with customers getting monies back, and why arent the existing customers getting first option to buy these kitchens? Is this just big business, that the investors get their share back first (as quoted to me when I got through to the Administrators) as they had a secured loan when bailing MFI out in Sept - and now cash customers are being disregarded?

ive called the 0845 number this morning and it is unobtainable, will keep checking the website but wonder if the number is right?

If you notice, the number now quoted on the website is the same as the administrators.......hmmmmmm.

the adminsitrators number that i can see is a london 0207 number, but the number now posted on the mfi stock website has been changed from 0845 to 01405 744838 and there is no answer on this number, at least its not unobtainable!! will keep trying...... in the meantime if anyone has a manilla oak standard double wardrobe and doors i would be interested in it..........

After some agonising months i have finally found my remaining aurora kitchen parts. i emailed Trading Bargains Ltd and they responed to me within 2hrs and have all my missing parts. :j Now i just have to hope that they arrive and that i do recieve a refund from the administrators. I was also informed that there number is now going live.

what are they chargeing for these parts is it the same as mfi retail prices or more?

It was cheaper. they said at cost price. we saved about £1000
