Well we have just spoken to Amex to see what is happening with our claim, and they say that they have not received the fax, even though we have a delivery report.
It's like banging your head against a brick wall, and I'm now getting thoroughly hacked off with it!!!!0 -

We have lived now for +2 months (after GBP12k paid for 2 bathrooms in Oct'08) with half completed work and makeshift cloakroom. I plan to complete the work using some fitter paying extra money. My family needs a proper bathroom for use after 2 months of nothing.
Does this affect my council building permit? Is there any ombudsman for these types of complaints for cheque payees? Is there any way of getting this extra expenditure refunded?0 -
with £68,000,000 worth of stock and £30,000,00 in the bank, why has no effort been made to rescue this company,or at least supply people with their missing items, at l least we can look forward to our ten pence in the pound refund ..im going to train as an administrator!!!!0

The £68M worth of MFI stock can be purchased in the following way.
The website www.mfistock.co.uk is now live (here you will see thje list of the ranges available). The call center which can take orders will go live on Tuesday morning. The number is 0845 072 2478.
Also, the old MFI store in Colindale is now open selling x-MFI stock. A further 19 stores are due to open in or around greater London. This information will be published on the website as the stores become available.
In addition to this, two stores from 'The Range' will also be selling this MFI stock on a concession basis in about 1 weeks time. The two stores are Norwich and Bournemouth.
