Minori looks better... slightly more solid feel...

if we had minori furniture, but just had a tall boy with manilla walnut chest top, would it look that much different?

basically is it the same shade of colour?

its almost the same - minori is a litle darker moodier looking - I have a old catalogue kicking about and was very interested in the manilla range because they are shaker style...and so had a good look at both ranges instore.

If it is just a manilla top on a minori cabinet unit - you "may" get away with it depending on lighting conditions in the room and if it is next to another unit or not - other side of the room, may be ok to not notice etc...

There is a difference though enough to notice....it depends on your setup.

Drop me a pm with your email address and I will try and email you pictures of both...

if its just a tallboy top - you could always chance an attempt at sanding it down and staining it too to darken it....but brave to do so! :)

  • Please keep an eye on the mfistock.co.uk website, over the next few days a link to various pdf's will appear showing pictures of the ranges available.

If you cant get through, please submit the form found on the homepage and you will get a call back. It has become very busy but please keep trying.

More stores will open over the next day or so. These stores will be listed on the site tomorrow prviding address details etc.

    Hello,
what times are the phone lines open from/to?
    THANKS
  • Hi

I have managed to place an order here today (by phone) for my missing items - so hopefully the kitchen can be finished now.

I find it a bit intriguing though that if this is supposed to be a totally separate venture that only bought the stock how come they can call up your order details !!!!!

I couldn't get a reply from the phone line yesterday but filled in the enquiry form on the mfistock website. Got a call back today from them to say they weren't able to help me with my missing parts. I needed the mirror panels for a sliding wardrobe door. Still I was quite impressed they got back to me to let me know and saved me keep phoning.
  • for those of us waiting for a refund ,the MFI WEBSITE has been updated , no new information really.
  • On the mfistock website it mentions two concession will be opening soon inside The Range. I had not heard of The Range until now but noticed there was one not far from me in Norwich so we decided to take a look and find out what was happening with the concession, hoping I could complete my bedroom. What an amazing Store The Range is. It sells anything and everything. I have completely kitted out my bedroom with textiles and some nice lamps and rug for the lounge. My husband even bought a fishing rod. I cant wait to go back on Saturday to sort out my MFI bedroom parts. Whilst I am there I am going to take a closer look at their Arts & crafts section. I am a crafter by hobby and didnt even know this store existed.

  • I have rung the Trading Bargains number this morning - the phone seems to cut off and go silent but just hang on - very helpful and pleasant person - ordered the doors I wanted - £30 for each door (about half price) plus £20 delivery charge - hopefully will be with me in 2 weeks time.
