MFI Administration article discussion

Finally received the funds returned to my credit card today - can now put an end to this debacle and now have to go furniture shopping again...aarrggh!

Anyone know who can provide decent 900mm wide bedroom wardrobe units at all as I am finding these very very hard to come by?

hi

just wanted people out there to know i paid mfi a total of 2400.00 in october 07 on my visa debit card the cash for goods to finish off my kitchen
i sent the form in to claim my money back and got the usual automated reply back
i also wrote to my bank to tell them the situaion that i had not recieved my good
they sent back for more information so i sent a photocopy of my receipts
and this friday 9th jan i had a full refund back from mfi

so if this information is of any help to anyone out there try this way
my bank is alliance and leiceser

I've got one from an incomplete order from MFI myself. I set it up thinking I'd get the rest of the order but alas MFI went bust few days later. Contact me on [EMAIL="lopezdee1@yahoo.com"]lopezdee1@yahoo.com[/EMAIL] if you are interested. I've got the coner return as well if you want it.

Note that I dont have the packaging anymore. I've had it for a little over 2 months now

Mfi website has been updated,its not looking quite as promising for cash/debit cards purchases.

there is an update on the administrators website at last..it looks like everybodys going to get there money with the poor old customers at the bottom of the food chain..they are talking months before we get anything..what will thier bill be like then:mad: :mad: :mad:

Just had all money refunded by Natwest, paid by credit card and asked Natwest for the refund last day before Christmas so it took them 4 weeks which is not bad. They actually said it will take a month. In fact I didn't pay the disputed items in the statement becaseu MFI went bust few weeks before receiving the statement. I wish you all the success in getting your money back.

Hi All,

I am one of those unfortunate who have paid by cheque. The recent update on the website is not very encouraging.

Could someone please share with me a telephone number for administators? (not the MFI helpline)? I know they will not tell me much, but still want to hear from them what is going on with my refund!
