I have had all my money refunded through Barclaycard, and I personally think they were helpful and my money came back into my account quite quickly, so a big thank you to Barclays. You have to contact them first and tell them the amounts you are claiming and they send you a form with this information on along with a reference number. I provided invoices and account transactions and receipts with the amounts I wanted refunding. Within days the money was back in my account, although they did not tell me via letter or anything but it is definitely back in my bank, so I think some of you should check your accounts and I hope you have a nice suprise like I did.:j
The number to call for help at Barclays is 01604 254689 option 3, hope this number is of help to some of you.0 -

Hi All
Looking for some advice, would be grateful for any comments.
I have a blackhourse agreement which I am currently paying. Claimed under section 75 as my kitchen order was only 90% complete. Got a call from the administrators today offering to settle for £500 as all the stock/orders were sold off. Can't understand why some of you have been told that missing order items may be delivered when I have just been told everything was sold off!!
What should I do? Be lucky I have even been offered something or say no way and pursue the claim?
Thanks in advance!!0 -

Hiya, i'm kinda in the same situation the administrators offered me £820 although my missing parts total more than that, i've sent recorded delivery letters to both MFI administrators & Black Horse stating that i'm taking them to court if they don't sort things, i'm gonna pursue this further as Black Horse won't reduce my payments even though my agreement was for £7500 and now less that £4000. I work for the court Service and i am gonna have a word with a solicitor friend but i'm considering court action or stopping my payments and seeing what Black Horse do, do you want me to keep in contact with what i find out??? Has anyone waiting on refund from cash, debit purchases received their money? I filled out proof of debt form in adobe and emailed it.I had thought the email address given was for refunds only but the automated response I got shows that its also for general enquires.Im worried that it will take ages to be read.Perhaps posting would have been the best thing to do.Did anyone else email?0

i did both but havent heard a thing . i rang mfi last week and the ADMIN arnt giving out any information as to weather theyve recieved any claim forms at this time. they told me i would be contaced in due course !! load of rubbish.
if you do decide to send by post , send it buy recorded delivery , that way someone at thier end has to sign to to say they have received it.
hope it helps.0 -
i sent the form by recorded delivery but was unable to track it and confirm delivery,,so i emailed a form as well which received an automated response..perhaps they are waiting until the end of the month for all claims to be in..ive heard nothing since..jb..0

Has anyone had a refund yet on Tesco Clubcard Credit Card - can get no response from them at all except to say they are inundated with claims because of all the other companies collapsing - thought MFI was 2nd to go after Woolworths, how come all the others seemingly take preference????0

Lisa,
That would be great if you could keep me posted. Any info at all is great.
I ended up calling the administrators today and told them £500 was not acceptable. Although my missing items were less than this amount I would be left with an unfinished kitchen that will never be complete. I called Consumer advice today also and they said I'm well within my rights and I should push it with both blackhorse and the administrators.
I'm going to send another letter to blackhorse and the administrators. I'll keep you posted also.
Good luck and I'll hear from you soon.
