I spoke to them yesterday and the lady said that they might now be fullfilling outstanding orders and that they should know Wednesday so phone back then????

What how can that be?? Did you call back?
  • We are short of two doors for a unit that sits on top of a base unit - we had ordered glass doors but if anyone had wooden ones we would be interested in buying them off you.

Nationwide customers... anyone else had this reply.

I have managed to get my money back from Nationwide as posted previously. However in the letter from them they say...

"we have been successful in receiving the funds back from the merchant, however if the merchant disputes the reason they may charge your credit card at a future date, we will let you know if they do this"

I would not be happy if in a couple of months time they debit my credit card the £6500, has anyone phoned about this or had a similar letter ?

    Cheers

    Hi,it`s me again,

I have managed to obtain a few of the MFI handles 14mm boss bar type.NHK 1231,NHK1233 and shorter bars.I know which ranges they cover but,I`m not sure what codes and sizes cover specific kitchens. Can you help if you have these ranges with these handles?

I have been able to help quite a few of you finish your kitchens-now I need your input.

I can supply handles for Aurora and Tamarind,Bolero,Farmhouse,Malton Oak,Copenhagen etc.etc.

    Thanks in anticipation

  • In relation to previous posts regarding information from MFI helpline, I have spoken to them this morning and been advised that they are still attempting to see if they can organise fulfilment of missing items from previously delivered orders - they did say that at present they were not sure this would definitely be possible.

Any orders that not been delivered at all have definitely been cancelled.

Claims forms need returning to MCR by 31st January, and you would be best to keep copies and send recorded delivery as they are NOT acknowledging receipt.
  • Have just recieved a letter from Barclaycard this morning asking me to contact Administrators before they will refund money to my account - rang administrator's number and spoke to a very accommodating person - they have nothing to send me and they have had some other calls re Barclaycard - he said they are "dragging their heels" - all the credit card providers have have had all the information they need electronically and the money is there for them to refund to customers.

So what did you expect? With 20% flying off the Barclay share prices, why wouldn`t they want to hang on to the money for at least another weekend!!

Anyone out there like to defend the financial institutions?

Call me a cynic if you like.

Great to hear from those that have received a refund though.

Has anyone else had a refund or heard anything from Capital One in respect of their Section 75 claim yet? I had a letter from them last weekend asking what I had tried to do to resolve the situation with MFI and their Administrators?!?? I sent them a suitably sarcastic reply explaining that I'd rung them etc. but unfortunately I hadn't been able to save the company from going bust! I don't know what they expected me to have done to resolve the situation??

I'm worried this isn't a good sign so if anyone else has had any dealings with them it would be good to know.....

    Thanks
