MFI Administration article discussion

I wrote to Black Horse finance almost three weeks ago regarding my section 75 claim. Has anyone else written and heard back sooner? Or should i be getting in touch with them again? I do get impatient!!

I have three NHK 1356 and five NHK 1357 handles,that`s all I have left,which I believe are for this range.Can someone confirm?

You are in exactly the same positon as me. The sales guy I ordered my Faraday office furniture from forgot to order the corner desk so it had to be reordered..and whad'y'know..it's never going to arrive. I too am waiting to see if any warehouse stock is being sold off as it was due to be delivered on 10 Dec so should be sitting around somewhere.

Just a reminder: I have a big SPACE CREAM panel that can be cut to measure. It cost me £169 and I'll settle for a reasonable offer, if anyone needs it to complete a kitchen.

What was the proceedure for everyone else re MFI/Blackhorse?

I suppose what we all need is a letter from Black Horse telling us that MFI have not taken the money from Black Horse - which would then cancel our debts - and for those of us with incomplete kitchens, at least this would go to some way to putting it right - but until that happens we are all stuck waiting.

I'm going to phone Black Horse again on Monday to try to get to the bottom of this - will update the forum. If anyone else gets any more info - please let us all know.

I've written to them twice, and phoned them - no joy so far, but have renewed vigour after reading these threads and will be back on the case on Monday !

I phoned Blackhorse today. We have an incomplete order (99% of it delivered but crucial parts missing) to clarify our position. They still consider our contract as binding as they say they have paid MFI (we have only had an initial letter from them so far). They said the only way they can cancel the contract is if MFI administrators tell them it is cancelled. The lady I spoke to also told me that from her experience it could be months rather than weeks before I hear anything from the MFI administrators!!
Keep posting as its good to hear other people's experiences too.

Hi guys, can anyone help??? we had purchased our kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and nursery furniture through MFI, we took out Blackhorse Finance. We have received none of our bedroom furniture, some of our bathroom & kitchen which we have had fitted. We know we aren't gonna get the rest of our orders but what the hell do we do???? we can't move into our house, we have a baby on the way and no furniture.
I have sent a letter to Blackhorse they called today to say they need to know exactly what has been received but i have no clue as some items where missing and others have never been delivered but the names of the items mean nothing to me.
Can we just ask for a whole refund as it looks like we are gonna have to get a new kitchen and bathroom? if yes should we not be able to get a refund for the fitting to???
if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated ......

If there`s anyone out there with these problems and they live in the Mid Sussex or East Sussex area Haywards Heath-Lewes drop me an e.mail [EMAIL="a.christie@btinternet.com"]a.christie@btinternet.com[/EMAIL] and I will help you try to identify parts etc.I do fit kitchens and bathrooms as part of my business but that`s not the reason I am on here.Some of you have made contact with me through this forum and I hope you have been happy with the outcome.It`s just such a mess and if we all club together in whatever way, it might just make a few people feel a lot,lot better.
