MFI Administration article discussion

plenty on here about kitchens and bedrooms. but not alot about their office suites.
Does anyone have any idea who the suppliers were of the office ranges. Specifically in my case, the thurlestone range?
I am also after Thurlestone office furniture. In particular, the 2-door sliding robe in Thurlestone. I have a desk and cupboards but I never received a pedestal or the main piece which is the sliding robe. What items are you after in Thurlestone, because if I can't get the rest of this then I may sell off the furniture I have received..0 -
Given that my furniture was due to be delievered the day or so after MFI went into administration, I imagine my furniture must be in a warehouse somewhere? As the Administrators would presumably sell off everything, does anyone know where/how we can get hold of the stock that must be somewhere?0

Hi, I am new to this message board so please excuse me if i have not posted correctly! This has been a great forum to read as it makes us realise we are not the only ones going through a nightmare with MFI! We are so close to our kitchen being finished which is good news in a way as we can finish it but the problem we are having is with the finance agreement we took out through MFI with Black Horse which was buy now pay next year. We have had contact with Blackhorse who tell us that the loan has been cancelled and they no longer deal with MFI but when we ring the MFI helpline number they won't deal with individual orders so we are stuck.
Can i ask if anyone has had any commumication from MFI about their situation? We keep being told that the Administrators are going through orders and will be in touch but we have heard nothing. I feel disgusted that no contact has made made not even through letter to tell us what is going on.

IM after the corner pedestal return (like a monitor stand for between two desks) and the pen file draw cabinet and castors. Unbeleivably depsite asking for those two items the guy i spoke to originally ordered the wrong things, otherwise i would not be where i am now. so then i had to go back and was told to to rebuy the items and send the other ones back. I have a two draw pedestal(filing cabinet thing) with square feet and some sort of corner pedestal.
what item number was it you wanted?0 -

Well, that's very interesting as when I phoned Black Horse, they couldn't find any record of my agreement etc - despite me having an agreement number and welcome letter from Black Horse.
To Lynseyology - did you phone Black Horse, or did they contact you?0 -
Hi
To those who have posted about Black Horse how much of your delivery have you had?
We have 99% of our order but the missing part is the wardrobe door panels!!
Has anybody in this situation been contacted by the administrators yet?
Maybe I should contact Black Horse - with a bit of luck they will have cancelled our agreement too but I won't hold my breath!0 -
Having received 99% of our bedroom suite (missing a draw front & plinth units) we claimed under S75 with Capital One. Initially wrote to put the item in to dispute and then claimed under S75. Sent copies of all documents (Invoice, Delivery List, Missing Item Replacement Order, Photos of items minus missing parts to demonstrate the problem) along with dispute form. Capital One then advised that we write to administrators asking that the part delivered item be made available for collection, which was duly done. Pleased to say that full refund was made under S75 today. We haven't heard from Administrator regarding collection of goods as of yet but expect to hear from them at some point.0

Similarly to Saint Nov I would very much like any advice as to where I can purchase my missing bedroom unit fittings in order to finish my daughters bedroom which we initially demolished in October and now can't rebuild. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Unfortunately we have no mid height carcases! Are there any compatible for the Schreiber range out there??
So far we have been unsucessful in both the building of the new units and the reclaim of our money. Hope to get some good news soon.0 -

Hi, my husband called Black horse who also said they had no record of our agreement (we also had a confirmation letter like you) and the explanation was that MFI did not draw the money and therefore we did not owe Black Horse any money. My husband questioned if they could give the original loan money directly to us so we can buy the outstanding freezer and pay the company MFI were using for the granite work tops in order to finish our kitchen but they refused and stated that all agreements have been cancelled with MFI and they no longer deal with them. It is so frustrating because we could finish the kitchen ( we have since bought a freezer) by paying the marble company but we don't want to take out another loan in case we get details through from MFi to confirm what is going to happen. We don't want two loans especially in this day and age!0 -

I would contact Black Horse as you get more answers from them. I cannot believe that the Administrators have not even sent out a letter.0
