• the number i have is 08081891129 if that helps i had to block my credit card after they took £124
• Hi, what an idiot I am, I never read terms & conditions when buying items. My girlfriend wanted these Acai berries, so I bought them for her £2.99. They charged me £126, I have reported it to the Credit card and filled in a form. Am I likely to get the money back or is this all legal, surely it is illegal to hide things in terms & conditions. I purchased them on the 03/04/11. I sent the Acai company an e-mail 3 days ago, they said as 3 days had gone I cannot cancel it. I still haven't received any berries either.

Why do these company's not get kicked off the internet.

Anyway, my question was, am I likely to get my money back from the credit card company?

Thank you
my cc compnay are investiagating but said i will get my money bk one way or another the number i have is 08081891129 hope this helps
• Do not use this company - Proactionacai & Proactiondiet
I purchased 2 trial packs for £2.49ea on 4th April. £4.98 was taken out of my account on 4th April - they promised a speedy delivery for the trial products I had purchased, I have received nothing from this company - I chased them up by email quoting my order numbers on 25th April to their email address which generates automated responses giving you a support ticket number which they promise to get back to you within 72 hours or sooner. When I checked my bank account I noticed they had taken £75.00 and £37.50 at close of play on 25th April - YET I'VE RECEIVED NOTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY HAVE DISHONESTLY TAKEN MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. A total sum of £117.48 from my account. So far I have sent over 200 emaisl to both email addresses which have generated 12 support tickets, I have had no response from this company todate - I have also sent messages on their website but no answers so far - i've tried calling again no response the last 10 emails sent gives them 24 hours notice -:

YOU HAVE 24 HOURS NOTICE TO RETURN MY MONEY AND ACKNOWLEDGE MY EMAILS IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY OR A RESPONSE FROM YOUR COMPANY I WILL BE CONTACTING THE FOLLOWING:

ACTION FRAUD, OFFICE OF FAIR TRADING, CONSUMER FRAUD REPORTING, CRIMESTOPPERS UK, CONSUMER DIRECT ON FRAUDSTERS, MONEYSAVINGEXPERT, CANYOUTRUSTTHEM, AMAZON, FACEBOOK, AND MANY MORE - YOU HAVE 24 HOURS FROM 9:20AM 28/4/2011 - PLEASE RESPOND ASAP

This company is advertising on Amazon and Facebook this is a total scam and their busness ethics stinks - BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY BE WARNED......

• Hi Freekyemma,

You must follow this up with Proactionacai and Proactiondiet just keep sending them emails requesting they reimburse your money the more emails you send hopefully you will get your money back. I have sent them over 200 emails they now have 24 hours notice before I report them to Action Fraud and other crime prevention companies - Please keep chasing them for your money £112.00 is a lot of money and what they have done is illegal and they need to be stopped now

support@proactionacai.com and support@proactiondiet.com

Good luck and lets hope we get our money back as this scam needs to be stopped.
• Just an update. Following an email to clay.douglass@localbilling.com I received a phone call from a call centre supervisor from the east coast of America. He listened to my complaint , gave me a cancellation number and assurred me I would be reimbursed. I am pleased to say I have been fully reimbused. Lesson learned.:)
• :(
I've been scammed too in exactly the same way by same company etc etc:mad:
Ring your Bank, identify unauthorised payments etc then they should advise/support you of your options!! I've cancelled the card I paid for 'FREE TRIAL' with & the Bank are re-issuing me with a new replacement card.
I have actually received email replies from 'the SCAMMING company' via my cancellation subscription confirmation emails & as I understand it-- this company continue to actually scam others via how the 'terms & conditions' (which we agree to) are actually worded
Its so deceiving & misleading!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:.
I'm also going to report this scam to the relevant authorities as other people have done & should continue to do to get rid of these SCUM BAGS!!!!!
Hope this helps...& good luck----we SHOULD all learn by our mistakes --- YOU DONT GET OWT FOR NOWT!!! (especially via the internet!!!!)

Hi, sorry to hear about your problem. I don't know anything about your specific query, but re the telephone number you gave above, have you tried replacing the 44 with a 0, so it would be 0161 7680104, ie a Manchester number. I think the 44 just relates to the +44 that you normally put in front of a number when dialling the UK from a mobile if you're abroad (ie you would usually replace the first zero of the area code with +44). Hope that helps - sorry if you'd already tried that :)

Superacai.co.uk is also Proactionacai.com and Proactiondiet.com they are all the same company
• :(please be aware of the scam. Thank god I have read all your posts before hitting the neter button. I have filled in all the details and something just didn't seem right-who gives you stuff for free these days??? so i came across this forum and imideatly canceled everything.
funny though, they had my email memorised and sent me one saying I need to click 'right here' to comlete my transaction. I have now done a re set to my spam folder to block any e-mails from their site and will never go back...if you want to try the acai berry diet, just buy it from a health sho - safer and you don't loose sight of your credit card details :)
a friend of mine did it and lost 4 kilos in a month - combined with healthy diet, no extra exersice, so, i might give it a go and keep you all updated

peace, L :A
