Despatch note has PO box 13579 linlithgow EH49 9AH. Company who took payment was Better Health. Can anyone help?

Sounds like the Viv3 Labs scam is back in business under a new name (Clean Life Nutrition) with the usual acai pill and teeth whitening scams.

They are also running these websites:
acaireducetracker.com
cleanlifenutrition.com
getslimpackage.com
teethbrilliant.com
acaireduce.com
cleanseaware.com
theslimpackage.com

Number is the same used in previous scams: 870 820 0066 / 8708200066

• Thank you so much. I cant believe how stupid I have been.Do you have any suggestions of what to do next. I have cancelled my bank card - bank already knew about scam-pity they didnt stop payment.
I still have product unopened.
• IF you received the product within the past 7 working days you can return it and you then have a right to a full refund under the distance selling regulations. You probably won't get one but if you do this (recorded delivery) then ask your bank for a chargeback if/when the scammers fail to refund you. Your grounds for chargeback would include their failure to comply with distance trading regulations by not refunding you. You can request a chargeback wether you paid by Visa debit card or by credit card.

Well they are scammers (allegedly) so unlikely to be too forthcoming with accurate details and may also use shell companies, fake addresses/po boxes/maildrops etc There is some limited info at: cleanlifenutrition.com including a rather meaningless address of: 567s Hyde Park London and a phone number in the US: 888-373-5936 but I have no idea how accurate it is.

All their domains have their ownership (whois info) hidden using domain privacy - in itself a big red flag.

May not be the same company but Companies House webcheck lists a CLEANLIFE NUTRITION LTD at:

Name & Registered Office:
CLEANLIFE NUTRITION LTD
145-157 ST JOHN STREET
LONDON
ENGLAND
EC1V 4PY
Company No. 07380551
Date of Incorporation: 20/09/2010

For £1 you could get the Current appointments report which will give you the name of the Director.

• In January I ordered a free trial of Super Acai & Pure Hoodia and a Colon Cleanser, from two different companies.

Obviously after several charges to my bank account even after returning the products I now realise that both companies are scamming people, but after recieving full refunds I didnt think I had anything to worry about.

However yesterday I recieved a package containing "Cleanse Aware Probiotic Colon Nutrition" from the address of: PO BOX 13579 Lin Lithgow, EH49 9AH.

The parcel did not contain an invoice and I have not been charged for anything on my credit card.

I have cancelled my credit card anyway, just to be on the safe side, and am being sent a replacement.

Just wanted to know ... Am I safe from this scam now?

The company obviously still has my address but will I be safe now I have changed my credit card details?

Any help would be appreciated!

Not necessarily - they use recurring payments, so the details may just be attached to your new credit card details.

I would suggest reading this thread which illustrates the scale and spread of this scam:

• A friend of mine said she suffered the same scam with teeth whitening products so basically I think we should beware of any free trial
• The scam I fell for was a free sample of the products but the charge which had to be cancelled was to pay for the trial of following my progress using their online charts and diet advice for each of the products.

The address on the despatch note was also PO Box 13579, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH.

The time within which I could cancel was only 3 days but that was not made clear until I rang to cancel.

Has anyone else been sucked into this "free" scam thats online about Acai Berries????
I heard good things about the health benefits of taking acai berry power and decided to order the free trial from their website as you only have to pay about £2 p&p..... anyway I put all of my details in and clicked submit, by which time it was too late to realise that in the small print it states that once you order the free trial unless you cancel it within 14 days they automatically charge your credit card for a further supply and its about £40 or £50 each time until you cancel!!
anyway, they have a phone number on their website but as they are in Florida they have conveniently forgotten to give the rest of the number (dialing codes etc) and I was wondering if anyone has successfully managed to cancel this after receiving the free trial?????
I have tried searching online for dialing codes but all the numbers I have tried are unobtainable
001 954 877 350 8480 & 001 989 877 350 8480

Please can anyone help me????????

These people ripped me off to the tune of £130. I too fell for free trial + postage costing £2.95. Invoice came via email totalling £0.99 so nothing to fear there. Suddenly my credit card registers a transaction from Youth Nutrition! I have emailed them to cancel and i'm within any 14 day cooling off period. They called themselves Acai Lipo!
The big problem is not this company but the stupid laws and credit card companies that allow them to get away with it. Everything these scumbags do is legal!!!!
If you get caught - contact the credit card co straight away and block them. unfortunately you will probably have to cancel your card because they are doing this legally and not fraud. Email them now at support@trytadalafil.com tell them you were you did not enter knowingly into this contract and you would like to cancel the contract and free trail. Then quote your order number and total cost you would like refunding. Send a copy of the email and any other evidence to the Retail Disputes dept. at your credit card co. And hope justice is done.
