  • After all these years of not conceiving, i daren't even think that it may be implantation bleeding :o Yet when my Af is late and i get "pregnancy/pms" symptoms, im the first to think i'm pregnant!! Apart from implantation bleeding, are there other reasons for a very tiny bleed,it wasn't like a normal flow, it was just there, twice.? I'm trying not to get my hopes up, especially after being 13 days late last month, but ive never had this sign before... ;) aaarrrgghh, someone write us ladies a manual please! :p

I had some spotting as you describe for the last 3-4 months about 2-3 days before AF starts. I would even have a day just before AF with no spotting at all. It hasn't happened this month and AF is due any time now (CD28, my cycle is usually 28 days). So, I would say it is possible to get some spotting and for it not to be implantation or AF, but I am still no wiser why I had it and what it was about!

I am just sitting here at work now thinking when AF will show up, as I don't usually have cycles longer than 28 days (ok, couple of times...) I jsut want to get on with it and get ready for blood tests on Friday if AF shows up today or tomorrow.

  • :hello: Hi All, & welcome to the Newbies .

Sorry I've not had much time to read/post lately (even though I've been thinking of you all!)- busy at work, and doing my annual overhaul of our finances in any spare time I get....good news is that the dosh is on track, even if nothing else is!

Just a little ? for those who have previously suffered miscarriages - is it 'normal' for AF to be late on your first cycle afterwards? As my previous m/c was chemically induced, I don't think I can really count it, and anyhow, I came on right on time after that one.
Now I am on CD33 (normally a 28-30 day cycle) and none of the usual PMT signs. Especially no bloating - in fact a couple of people I saw last night told me looked like I had lost weight!
DH suggested that I take a test! I have poo-pooed the idea, as we have something less than 1% chance of anything happening 'naturally', I have no idea if/when I OV'd, and we only BD'd twice last month! Like the good MoneySaver I am, I told him it would be a waste of a test!

Thanks for that - will have to raise it with my Dr...

I've not had the obvious symptom of breast milk, only no period and my vision going a little dodgy, just started wearing glasses [but this might well be a natural progression rather than a tumour related problem]. I had my CT scan a couple of weeks ago, waiting on the results now so if it show's nothing I'm going to bring this up. I take cabergoline at the moment & it's brought my period back at long last so hopefully it'll mean I start ovulating.

My newest problem is that I am trying to temp chart & they're all over the place, Monday 34.2, Tuesday 36.4 and today 35.7 - what's that all about?! I'm on CD 8 today..and confused.

Hiya temps that go up and down can indicate annovulatory cycle. BUT before you panic, are you taking your temperature the same way every morning and before you jump out of bed? Are you taking it at the same time every morning as that can change things as well ? The most accurate way to temp is vaginally but i can understand if you dont want to do that. Lastly are you using a basal thermometer as that goes to two decimal places and is more accurate. Also when you have your AF visiting temps can be quite erratic . Have a look on the ovusoft website and look at some of the cycle galleries and that shows you other peoples charts. Take care

It can take a while for cycles to get back to normal but you might have caught the eggie at the right time. I would wait for a week and if AF has not
turned up do a cheap test. I dont want to get your hopes up but it only takes one little wriggler . Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Oh no...that sounds rubbish, but just bl__dy typical. It's my second cycle - having previously not had a period in 9/10 months, the last one was started by taking cabergoline and took about 36 days from the first pill...I shouldve temped then but brainlessly didn't. Will continue to keep an eye on it & raise it with the docs I guess, sigh..

    Good luck PeachyJem :) xx

Heya gang well I made it through the snow and went to my appointment at the ACU yesterday morning. Was so pleased I made it as I would have had to wait another couple of weeks..eek! Anyhoo everything is looking good the ball is rolling as they say and we will be starting treatment toward the end of May. Had to have another scan while there but no biggie. Doctor and Nurse both super lovely and were really good at explaining everything that would happen. Came away with lots of info and am feeling really positive. They were really chuffed with my weight loss and told me to keep it up as there is a better success rate with a healthier BMI. The procedure we will actually be having is ICSI, and the Doc mentioned that counseling is available if I/we need it. Sorry this is a bit of a ramble but am tres excited I could have that elusive BFP by June if all goes to plan :D
