BIG THANK YOU EVERYBODY! for your messages and support,:T and for your Fertility Dances!
Well done Nicki for getting your smear booked - they are horrible aren't they? I always put them off....
Nottslass how is it going? How was the scan Hun?
Myaccount - Hope you are feeling better?
Triggles - well, when it was just a private clinic I used to feel that they did everything at the best time for the patient, and that I really was treated as an individual person. Since it merged with the local NHS 'service' it has got more expensive (for those of us paying) and the 'service' has got worse. I feel like I'm treated as a number or a piece of paper - they lose records, forget to call you, send the wrong medications - the list goes on.... If I have to have another cycle I am seriously thinking of changing clinic, even though that means about 2 hours travelling each way.
Anyway, I'm feeling a bit better today.
Managed to fit the injections in, between badminton and after-badminton Xmas drinks in the pub (DH had to drive across town, meet us in the pub, then he & I sneaked out to the car where he did the final trigger injection......I had images of the police questioning us on suspicion of illegal drugs - LOL!) then we rejoined the group with no-one any the wiser!
Hopefully we will still get a good 'clutch' of eggs, but if we don't get as many as last time I will be asking serious questions of the consultant about the timing, and it may be time for a stern letter of complaint to the clinic (I'm good at those!).
But in the meantime I am trying to think positively about it all.....very bloated today and lots of twinges in the lower tum (kept waking me up in the night, along with kind of hot flushes...) so hoping that the follies are 'doing their stuff'. DH has to 'produce' at 7.30 tomorrow, and I'm on the list for 08.00, so hopefully I'll get chance to log in later tomorrow and let you know how it all went!
Big ((HUGS)) and thanks again,

Had my scan,I think she said that there were 4 follies on one side and 2 on the other- when i asked if that was good, she said "its early days",so of course,I came home & "Googled" it,and things don't look brilliant !! (that will teach me)Anyway, got to go back on Friday to see how things are going.
Been really tired today, this treatment really takes it out of you, both physically & mentally, doesn't it ?(who said making babies was fun ?)but got a day off tomorrow,so after I've done your dance,I'll go to town and indulge in some retail therapy !!!!
Will be thinking of you tomorrow X0 -
Nottslass, you only need one good egg to make a baby!!! Dont worry about it - it will be fine.
Fertility dance at the ready for you FE, Will be thinking of you tomorrow - remember, leave your dignity at the door, and collect it on your way back out again!!!!!!!!!!!!

How you all doing today?
Im on CD 5 now and physically feeling much better. AF was gone alot quicker than usual. Still abit emotional though, its not the fact it was another failed cycle as im so used to that, just random uncontrollable emotions lol. Perhaps it's just SAD kicking in... i wish i could find a cheap lightbox somewhere!
Reflexology was great as ever on Monday but i just can't seem to relax, i'm so tense all the time. Any tips? DH is working 7 days (inc nightshifts) a week and we hardly spend any time together. Poor thing is exhausted and i'm already worrying that he will be too tired (or not even home) to BD if i O. I think combined with the constant BFN im beginning to lose all hope. Other people seem to just be waiting for their BFP, whereas i "feel" totally infertile (does that even make sense??) In my head i get excited about pregnancy but in my heart & body i just can't see it happening. Does anyone else ever feel that way?
FE - can i borrow your skills at formal complaints? I need to send one re;the lack of lap & dye but keep putting it off in the hopes i'll fall pregnant and won't need it. I hope you get a BFP this cycle and won't need to complain!
Nicki - Hope you have a fab weekend, one that results in a BFP too
Hugs to everyone, we must get some Christmas/NY BFPs!!0 -
myaccount - I do know what you mean - work schedules make trying to get pregnant near to impossible sometimes! DH works night shifts (and extra hours right now) so I almost felt guilty telling him "um ovulation time approaching" but what else can ya do?
Luckily, DH looks at it as a challenge - even if he's tired, he's very "okay, once each day, and twice daily once you get the smiley face on the OPK". Then he has to have about a week off to rest. :rotfl: Poor guy.
