I'm still waiting for the results from my blood tests to see if there's anything going on that has caused the miscarriages. Was hoping to have heard by now, hopefully next week.
  • Sorry for lack of news Gals - just popping in on neighbour's PC while babysitting, so gotto be quick....
EC on WEds went OK except they caught a blood-vessel or something and had quite a bit of bleeding during the procedure (and I did afterwards too). They say expect MILD period pains afterwards for a few days, and last time that was true, but this time around they were quite bad cramps & pains, and Ifelt really dozy after the anaesthetic.
We got 11 eggs, of which 8 were suitable for ICSI, and of those, 7 developed.
The best 2 were put back in on Fri - easy & painless transfer. Fingers crossed the other 5 keep developing and we get some 'for the freezer'!
I'm just taking it easy now and trying to rest as much as poss.
More soon, when I can get on;ine in private...

FE - fingers crossed that you have a BFP in the works!

sarah - hope your bloodwork comes back showing something super easy to fix so you can get to ttc without minimal fuss (see, that's better than finding no problems at all, cuz then you're no further into finding the problem, right? - that was my reasoning when I had testing done!)

  • I couldn't agree more Triggles! So far the docs have found no reason why I haven't found it easy to conceive, which on the one hand is brilliant, but on the other it doesn't explain why nothing is happening! It's a weird logic I know, but at least having 'something' wrong gives you something to focus on.

I hope you manage to have a relaxing couple of weeks FE!!
  • Well done FE, got my fingers crossed for your BFP shortly
