Yeh i first charted back since 2005 What i meant, is after you know you've Od you can enjoy "regular" sex again I didn't get EWCM for years either, most likely damage to the crypts from being on the BC pill when i was younger. What i've found good is; Omega fish oils, EPO (2g CD 1-O), Guaifenesin (CD 14-O) and grapefruit juice (CD 1-O). Although its packed with Vit C it still seems to really improve CM. I really didn't like the taste, but Lidl sells big cartons cheap and i quite it like now and have definately noticed the difference. Worth a try!

Hi fairydiamond, you're in good company here.Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for an appointment.

Ok grapefruit juice, will get some and see what it does, I don't like the taste though I am taking EPO already and trying raspberry leaf tea, red clover, pg vitamins, I will start taking cod live oil again but stopped when was pg last month as it has lots of vit A which is apparently bad when pg. Was also on BC pill for 9 years so maybe that is the reason I don't have much CM too?

I'm same as you in a way, my weight used to vary by ~half a stone and I was 9.5 for ages then 9 and now 8.5 and no idea why (like you said, as I am tall and bit skinny, my mum constantly thinks I have some kind of disorder but I can eat more than my DH at times and even finish his tea for him if he doesn't!), but hope this does impact the ttc (although seeing as I caught quite quickly the first time hopefully it doesn't matter). Anyway like you said, if we stay as we are no matter what we do, it must be how we are meant to be-at least for now anyway (after we have babies I expect it may change.......:D )

Welcome Fairydiamond (love the name! i can never think of anything nice) im new here too although abit of a TTC veteran aswel Hope you get your appointment soon.

lizziebell - i used to hate the taste of it too, but i would wait until i was really thirsty (like after doing an OPK) and glug my vitamins down really quickly with it - kind of like shots lmao. Im so used to it now i can almost enjoy a glass of it lol.

My appetite comes and goes, but if you always eat a lot and still lost weight maybe have your thyroid checked? that can have a big influence on TTC. The pill stops you from producing fertile mucus, they say within 12 months of coming off it the cervical crypts are back to normal. Wish they told us all these things before we went on it though! "Dr Rude" also blamed this on my weight and told me that CM doesn't matter, although with the Kremer test and such, i had wondered if thats one of the reasons i can't fall pregnant easily.

Im CD 25 today and still waiting for some sort of pattern to emerge from my chart. My temps went down almost 1 degree after my positive OPK and have yet to rise after one week... just another weird thing to add to the list. Every month its something new i have to get my head around! Due to super long shifts we are struggling to BD often so im still worrying about missing O

Right,I think that covers all angles - all we need is a couple of BFP's to give us all some hope !!!!

Well said, Notslass - with all the treatment going on, I would like to think we will ALL be pregnant by the new year, although we may need the entire contents of your post, plus divine intervention to make it happen!!

Well, this month, DH and I are trying to make a baby the old-fashioned way!!!! OPKs have shown that ovulation happened this morning, so we have been bding like mad!!! Have also used pre-seed as I dont appear to have too much in the EWCM department, so after a few more BDs just to cover all the angles (Oooh errr I dont mean those kind of angles!!!!!) we are now into the 2WW. We are still deciding whether to do another IVF next month (although obviously as we are soooooo fertile, we will be pg already !!!???!)

The only downside at the moment is the problem with my cervix - Im not sure I mentioned it earlier, but during the ET last month, the gynae, whilst having her nose virtually inside my unmentionables (!) started questioning me on when my last smear was - apparently I may need cauterisation because my cervix was bleeding (I was SUPPOSED to be relaxing!!!) anyway, if not pg I was advised to have another smear test. So off I trundled this AM to have it, and although I had never had problems before, I have started spotting and when she took the smear, I bled like a pig - so now I am really worried that I have a major problem and this will put it all on hold (one of the reasons I want to try another cycle quickly - before I get the results!!) although the nurse did say that I may have to have it repeated cos of the blood!!!

Anyway hope all is well with everyone, particularly our two intrepid down reggers, who are never far from my thoughts
