Medicinal chocolate - now there's a fabulous idea. It could go with my therapeutic pizza I've just ordered as OH is working late tonight! Hope it is a BFP on Monday though to hide the evidence, otherwise it'll be lettuce and water until Christmas!!0

Good luck for the poas Monday, Nicki, I will have my fingers crossed til then, which may make normal life difficult but - what the hell!!!
Will try and perform a fertility dance as well!!!!!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Good luck for POAS nicki! Dh & I also treated ourselves to takeaway pizza tonight, i thought he wasn't going to escape from work in time so i brought the pizza home... only to find he had already done the same - so we ended up with 2 large pizzas lol.
Im supersticious about allsorts when it comes to TTC too. I will be 10dpo on Monday and have several cheapies left so i may POAS too. It will mark a 4 year 'angelversary' too so it would be an extra special BFP. I will do a fertility dance for us bothExcited to see the results!!

Hey, yesterday must have been 'takeaway day'! I had to travel to another office for work - a nightmare of train dealys and then bad accidents on the m-way caused traffic chaos in town so DH was stuck in traffic ages when he came to pick me up from the station (bless him!)....so we were just too tired to cook and decided that we hadn't had something from the 'chippie' for such a long time......So I got a nice long bath and DH went to fetch the grub....lovely!
No news from the clinic today (so hopefully that is good news!) so unless they call me later it'll be starting the Stimming tonite.......
Hope everyone has a good weekend - and good luck for the POAS on Monday Nicki!

TTC with FI - RIP my 2 MC Angels - 3rd full ICSI starts May/June 2009 - BFP!!! Please let it be 'third time lucky'..... EDD 7th March 2010.0 -
Hooray! We got our 1st appt at the fertility clinic through... roll on 5th Jan 09. It seems an age away, but I'm sure it'll fly by what with Christmas and all.
Nicki - Good luck for Mon or whenever you decide to poas (hopefully you won't have an excuse not to!). It's amazing how quickly everyone elses' 2ww seems to go.
Whoever suggested the fertility dance? I can't remember now, but think it's a great idea - can I propose a TTC 12+ group dance 1st thing on Monday morning?!
Myaccount08 - I'm having reflexology too, which I find really relaxing. Whether it works or not remains to be seen, but it's such intense 'me time' and I feel so good afterwards that I figure it's worth the 30 quid every couple of weeks.
Have a good weekend everyone0 -

Right Ladies, anybody wishing to take part in "the dance" on Monday Please read carefully,as it has to be followed exactly !- Get yourself a phallic object,no need to worry if you don't have one to hand, you can make one, Blue Peter stylee, out of Blue tack or Plasticine
- next, you need to be semi naked ( you are allowed to hide your modesty,Adam & eve style ,with a couple of fig leaves (Recommended if in a public place !)
- Place a clear Blue fertility monitor on the floor - if you don't have one of these, any brand of OPK or thermometer will do .
- Holding Your Phallic object up in the air with your right Hand, circle twice to the left ,then once to the right, whilst chanting "Oh god of the fertility challenged, all I ask you today, please let Nicki be preggers,as it will make our day. "
*Can I just add that anybody taking part in the above, does so entirely at their own risk, and I will not be responsible for bailing out any body who either a) gets arrested or b) sectioned0 -
Ooh a mass fertility dance! Thanks everyone. If ever there was an incentive to wait, that's it. So "Step away from the drawer with the poas's. There is nothing to see there... until Monday hopefully"0

Im in for the dance on Monday - thanks for the instructions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a good weekend everyone - liloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Nikki - due to arthritis in this bitter cold weather the reflexologist has been coming to my house which is lovely! It costs £37 though so im only doing it for 4 weeks. After that i will be dropping to every 2 weeks i think too. Of all the treatments ive had i've definately found this the best, i feel relaxed for at least a full week after
I know where the fertility 'bits' are, but not sure how/if its possible to do DIY reflexology effectively?
Im definately in for the dance on Monday. Would post a pic/video if it weren't for the nakedness lol
Im at the end of CD 30 & 7dpo, having really horrible cramps and hoping they are for a good reason!0 -
Good luck for Monday Nicki - I will try to attempt the fertility dance too!
I haven't been trying for 12 months yet (although sure feels like it at times!) but I hope you don't mind me posting on here because I think you are more likely to be able to advise.
I was wondering what help the NHS offers after going through their fertility tests such as the day 21 blood tests, semen analysis, ultrasound, hysterosalpingogram etc. I've heard that the NHS in my area has a waiting list of around 2 years for IVF but was wondering if after the tests are they likely to offer something in the meantime like clomid or IUI and how many might they offer and is there usually a bit of a wait for this type of treatment?
