Feeling sorry for myself,so a bit of a self indulgent post I'm afraid.

I'm begging to wonder why I'm going through all this - the drugs and the side effects, and the endless hospital appointments - Lets face it,My chance of the ICSI working is only about 20 %,and there is no possibility of being able to fund another cycle (too bloody old anyway !)

Half of me is hoping that The cycle gets abandoned for one reason or another,at least that way I'll be put out of my misery sooner rather than later !!!!

OMG,sorry to sound so negative - I haven't been sleeping well all week, only getting about two hours a night, and we've spent this weekend Xmas shopping ( supposedly so I don't get stressed after ET !!) so bloody knackered.which doesn't help with the "positive fertile thoughts"

Here's hoping for some good news from Nikki tomorrow.

Sorry to but in on your TTC thread but having been through fertility treatment due to lack of ovulation I can confirm that you can have regular periods even if you don't ovulate.

Thanks Poppy9, got some duff info from a doctor really! I know that I do ovulate due to pg last month (non-viable) then no ov this month after ERPC, so hopefully in about 2 weeks I might ov again (CD6 today and ov'd CD18 in last cycle).

Big hugs from me. I know exactly how you feel, as the same thought has gone through my mind more than once. It's hard to take that final decision though.
  • Hi everyone hope you are all doing ok. I have not posted for ages but have been checking up on you all from time to time just to make sure you are all behaving!

Big hello to the newbies :hello:

Bit of sad news :( I had a mc about 2 weeks ago. So after a lot of tears from me and hugs from my hubby I am finally feeling a bit better so decided to post.

We are going to try again maybe after Xmas.

Is anyone still doing the clear blue trial?

They were supposed to send me info on how to post the monitor back to them but they haven't sent anything as yet.

I think I will contact them on Monday and advise them I want to begin the trial again so I will see what they say.

Has anyone found it useful or had any luck with it?

    Hi miss pink.

So sorry to read your news. Try and keep your chin up. :happylove

I am still doing the clearblue trial, I am nearing end of cycle 3. I haven't as yet got pg but I do find it has helped me to know I am actually oving even though its not exactly the same CD every month as my cycle lengths vary.
    For example last cycle I saw a peak on days 16 & 17. This cycle I saw a peak on days 13 & 14.
I keep my own records of this so in the future when I am finished the trial I will know to bd from say day 14 to day 18 to try and catch the day I ov.

I recently had a letter from the company saying the office is closed over xmas and not to samples in after the 19th Dec. They are sending out next cycles kit early so if you are going to get in touch to go back on the trial don't leave it too late.

    Best wishes

  • So sorry for your loss Miss Pink :(

VK we've had 2 new babies in the family this past year, both unplanned. Someone i know is currently on their 3rd child since we started TTC, it can be really depressing. Especially when their's are oopsies. Looks like there are a few of us possibly testing tomorrow then! I hope we get some good news soon.
