Ready for some much needed r&r this weekend. IT's our fifth wedding anniversary tomorrow and we're heading to Pennyhill hotel and spa for some serious pampering and michelin starred food. Can't wait. Little-un will be looked after by adoring grandparents so that's good too. A lie-in! How glorious.
Oddly though it will be the first time in years that we will have to use condoms (St Mary's doesn't want us to get pg yet until we have had our preliminary investigations). I shall feel like I'm on an illicit weekend! LOL0 -
Well Sarah, at least that will make it feel like a dirty weekend and should be more fun for it!
Hope you enjoy yourself, you deserve it, x0 -
OMG,I MISSED IT !!!!!
HOW ON EARTH DID I MANAGE THAT ?
:j:jFAIRYELEPHANT I'M SOOO PLEASED FOR YOU:j:j
I'm sat at work with a great big grin on my face (& a little lump in my throat)
I've got absolutely everything crossed that you have a very happy and healthy 9 months.
I'll be looking out for you on the preg thread (not that i've posted much yet)

Js_Other_Half - you have no idea how much hope you have given me today - I feel so much better for it knowing your IVF worked at 37 - I will hopefully get a round this year and I'm 38 and thought I had virtually no chance, but you have reminded me that a tiny little chance is better than no chance at all! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm loving lemon and ginger tea in this weather and have got a big bowl of peas I've just picked from the garden to sit and eat - well, it seems a shame to cook them!
At my clinic the success rate for under 40's is about 30 % (more for a five day transfer)
Don't give up hope - at 40 I was given about 10 % chance (for a 2 day transfer)
I had my second cycle at 41 and I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant - so you're a spring chicken compared to me !!
Good luck0 -
Nottslass, I didnt realise you were 41 - you've made my day too, at 40 I thought my chances were slim - not that I was giving up hope you understand! Excellent.
Do keep posting - we will have to come up with a name for the babies born from this thread - any ideas - ? - the live for £4000 call them frugalmites - we could have .....................miraclemites?

It is just that mites sound like something I would like to get rid of - but in the contrary, I want a baby!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I'm so glad I'm not the only one in the oldies TTC bracket! Weird how comforting that is when I've felt so out on a limb for so long
Lilo - I think something like Wishlings!0
