Forgive me as a still lurker on this board if I make a comment about someone who is now posting.
I see grace1990 has made her first post here, asking about surrogacy. I have seen this poster over on Discussion Time and on other threads on Families, and noticed her because all of her posts are extremely abusive and unkind to those who either have families or who are trying to conceive but are not worthy in her eyes.
I know (because I was here for a long time, and it's how I felt too) that feelings run raw sometimes on this thread, and that hurts can be very deep. Please all of you be aware that this poster has a history. If she genuinely wants support and advice from here, then of course offer it, but if she seeks to enter into debate or judgment on you or others, please please either use the ignore button or search her previous posting history to know that her judgments are scattergun against all parents of young children because there is a potential for widespread devastation on what has up until now been a very supportive and safe thread.
I'm sorry for posting this. I wouldn't normally do so, but I do have genuine doubts about the bona fides of this poster (who incidentally said only a few days ago that she was in the final stages of approval to adopt a child, and has never previously indicated she is involved in a surrogacy arrangement), and I do have a strong sense of loyalty to all who have been posting here since the beginning, and whose ups and downs I have shared.0 -

Yes ditto Nicki - forgive me too for still lurking - I got lots of support on here from long term posters in the past and they are all lovely x
I think you are right to post a warning Nicki - my heart sank when I saw she had posted here - lets hope it's genuine
I'll go now
Nikabella - I hope everything is ok for you
Don't go to work tomorrow - Stick to your guns about the scan with your doctor and the EPAU if needs be (hopefully not) x0 -
Just had this email.I want to pass a reader's letter along (with her permission) as many of you may know a couple who cannot conceive and know the heartbreak that brings to childless couples. While I know of no direct evidence this is true, why should childless couples be Vitamin D deficient? Both the man and the woman should take 5,000 IU a day.

Dear Dr. Cannell,
I am writing to thank YOU for doing what is important work. I am an RN,BSN, work in the area of fertility in collaboration with an OB/GYN and others. I have studied the research on vitamin D for the past 2 years and came across your site. You can only imagine what treating vitamin D deficiency does for fertility. I see there are no large studies on this in existence anywhere. I have developed protocols based on current research. They are used by the OB/GYN I work with as well, and it's nothing short of amazing. (I guess we do not need a large study to prove what we are seeing, it is across the board success) Everyone of our women have conceived that previously had difficulty. One was infertile for 10 years, another for 3 years, and one had no cycles for three years, they all returned to full fertility within 6 weeks.
An understanding of the physiology and biochemistry of fertility disorders has led to the development of my protocols that include, Vit. D, diet and lifestyle. All key components. I watched too many women over the years with fertility disorders of every kind, go on to develop breast, uterine and ovarian cancers. What was the link? Well now we know and can do something about it.
Thank you for all your work and helping educate people on the need for vitamin D in all of this.
Thank you,
Darcy Hemstad, RN, BSN

to attain that level requires 6000iu/daily/D3. as each 1000iu raises 10ng ~25nmol/l approx.
Anyone who doubts what I say can test their Vitamin D with a £27 $40 test here and take 5000iu Now Foods vitamin D3 for 90 days to see. then retest. to get 6000iu/d from 5000iu/d capsules take and extra 1 on one day each week. $5 IHERB discount codes in the referrals board. But check your order after you have applied the code is still under £18 or you may get caught for customs duty and the PO extortion charge for collecting the tax.
We know not only there are Vitamin D receptors in sperm and vitamin D aids sperm motility (so it's both partners than need to be sunbathing naked at noon or taking an effective equivalent amount of D3.) but there are Vitamin D receptors in the tissues the sperm targets so they also have a natural requirement for D3.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Hi Nikabella.
My advice would be to not go into work tomorrow and get yourself to A&E during the day. I went to A&E as soon as I got DBS with my second pg and they scanned me to see what was going on.
Just tell them how far along you are and that you have heavy bleeding.
You might want to find someone to look after your LO as you could be waiting around for ages, but then again you might be in and out....depends how busy they are.
Hope all is well.

Have I dreamt it or have I read somewhere that the maximum age for IVF is to be increased?
If so does anyone know what age it will be?
Sorry for all these questions but after TTC for 4 years & being 43 I feel time is running out for us.0 -
After a sleepless night I have woken to find I'm still bleeding with clots aswell (sorry if TMI) but there is still no pain or cramping. I have rung the doctors & asked them to bring my appointment forward to 10.30am & my OH is coming with me so that we can push for a referal to EPAU. Thank you to everyone who has given me support, as I would never have had the courage to this without your advice.

At our clinic they will treat up to the age of 50,if using donor eggs or 44 if using own.0 -
