Well, I decided to book my first appointment with Bolton Hospital. They had the shortest waiting time (I could have been seen in 2 weeks, but I am away with work, so booked for April 8th). They don't do IVF, so if it is the only route for us, we will have to go somewhere else anyway. Also, this means I can have my first appointment before Easter, and we are going to visit my family abroad over the Easter.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

In case you wondered where I had got to, I have had a bad few days I'm afraid.
After a positive couple of weeks mentally I got the news on Sat that my BM is PG again, and it absolutely knocked me for 6, even though I knew that they were going to start trying again at Christmas. I should have know that she would fall quickly, as last time she got PG the first month they tried.
I love her and her LO (my godson) to bits, and I WANT to be happy for her, but it just hurts so badly and I feel like such a nasty person for being so jealous.
Making it even worse, AF arrived on Sat (not that she was unexpected- right on time actually) and it was a bad one with floods and lots of pain. Had a migraine and was sick all day on Monday (yet another sick day off work), and have not felt well all week.
Tried to get DH to reconsider the month's delay in our next treatment cycle, but he didn't want to discuss it, and instead was mad with BM for telling me over the phone on Sat, rather than waiting until I see her this Sat - he just wouldn't understand that she did it with my best interests in mind - she knew it would upset me, and she also knew that as soon as I saw her I would know without her saying anything (like I did last time, without even knowing she was trying!), so DH & I ended up rowing about that instead.
Dreading this weekend. I have a house-full, but all I want to do is climb into bed, pull the covers over my head and hope they will all go away!!!!!The best advice you can give your children: "Take responsibility for your own actions...and always Read the Small Print!"

Fairy Elephant, I wish I could take it away. It hurts so bad, and your losses are so recent- big, big, big hugs.
DH is probably really upset as well, if hes anything like my DH, I cop it instead of the real target, hes not annoyed with you really. He probably feels that hes letting you down, and he's a man - he wants to solve all your problems and wave a magic wand and he cant and hes frustrated angry and upset, just like you. I can understand why she told you like she did - she cant change the news, but at least she has given you the privacy to get to grips with how you feel in your own time and way without everyone looking on.
I hope you feel better soon. LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -

Oh FE,I understand exactly how you feel - SIL announced her BFP last week, only it was a "no men required" job with a turkey baster, sort of adds insult to injury, doesn't it ? especially as her financial circumstances are less than ideal, and she lives in a housing association flat ,that is for singles and couples only & totally unsuitable for a child, oh and the fact that although she is 31,she has the maturity of a 12 year old !!! (bitter ? me? no.lol)
Sometimes life seems so unfair, but your BM sounds extremely considerate for telling you before Saturday, when you'll have a house full, and probably realises exactly how you are feeling,so don't feel guilty.
Anyway, who says that you can't have a "duvet day " once in a while ? OK so chocolate and bed might not be a cure all but it beats house work !!!!
Take care FE

Congratulations Annie! A bit of good news to add to Lilo's, how wonderful.
Poor FE. Hopefully the main reason you're finding your BM's news so hard is the hormones. A couple of days it will have sunk in and the hormones will have reduced and you'll be in control of it all again. And count the busy weekend as a way to not think about it too much.
All the best.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Hi!
Thanks everyone for your congratulations! :j
I managed to get in to see the nurse this morning. Oddly enough, the POAS tests they did there were neg (but it wasn't FMU and I am 'only just' pg if I implanted on Sunday). I did a cheapie internet test which again gave a very faint line, a Sainsbury's test that gave a much more definite line, and then a Clearblue Digital with Conception Indicator, that said 'Pregnant 1-2 weeks'. The nurse was confident my HPTs are right, but decided to do a blood test, only she couldn't get any blood! She got another nurse to try too, and they even tried in the back of my hand, but not a drop! I left with a couple of POAS tests from the surgery and a pot, so I have to keep trying, so they can officially confirm!
Very tired this evening - today has been a lot to take in... If it's ok with you guys, I might stay in here a bit longer - until it's official.
Hugs to all,
