Oh blimey.
Just had a few tears for Jade who passed away in her sleep in the early hours of this morning. I knew I would when the time came.....I feel so incredibly lucky everyday that my cancer was found in time to save me and I feel for the families of the women who die everyday because theirs wasn't found in time.

Well said shelly.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Sweet baby jesus! Anyone watch "The Great Sperm Race" that was just on channel 4?
I'm amazed that the human race still exists after watching that. I knew sperm had a hard job getting to the egg, but blimey, I didn't realise it was so bad:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I know Shelley! Makes me think if it's that hard for a "normal healthy couple" I might just as well give up now! Found it very depressing, I don't know about you.0

Hi everyone...
hope everyone is ok.
Im still feeling sick.... its the smell of food!! When Im feeding the patients at work Im really heaving (sorry, tmi!!!) and one of the students had a cooked breakfast today, which usually I love the smell of, but one whiff and I nearly threw up!!! Im a big girl and I love my food - this is very rare for me!!!
What does everyone think??? Should I dare to be a teeny tiny bit hopeful???
Cant test till Thursday (payday!!!) but I promise will keep you all updated.
Hugs and baby dust to everyone!!

I couldn't believe some of what I was hearing either.
For instance....For a normal, healthy fertile man only 18-20% of the 250 million sperm he ejaculates is good enough to fertilise an egg.....that's if it doesn't die along the way!!
I knew a womans 'bits' weren't sperm friendly but I didn't realise just how badly. Only the fallopian tubes are sperm heaven(the docs words not mine...lol ) I think I need to get more pre-seed
Usually between only 1-3 sperm actually make it to the egg.
All this was new to me :rotfl:
I did know about only doing it every 2-3 days though to keep sperm at its best.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hello ladies,
Just been catching up ,but haven't got anything interesting or informative to add !!!
Anyway, as I'm on annual leave this week,I've managed to get my Drugs ordered for my IVF cycle. AF arrived on Sunday,so I'll start downregging on the 11th April.
TBH I'm dreading it,as I know this will be our last chance & if its not successful it'll be the end of the road for us.
I Know that I should try to stay positive, but part of me daren't let that happen,as a BFN is heartbreaking - OMG listen to me,Me thinks I need to pull myself together and find my PMA.lol
Baby Dust to us all

Hugs nottlass - hope all goes well for you!
Fingers crossed Mrs Ryan and all the best of luck for all those that need it!!!
I am feeling a bit rough today. All a bit full and fed up, just want to go home. I am on CD23, and I am already getting some cramps/twinges that AF is on the way. My previous cycle was only 25 days, so I hope it is not going to become a usual thing for my cycles to get shorter and shorter - a year ago it was normal 28-29 days, and now it was 27 days with occasional 26 until last month! And, sorry, if TMI, but it seems that I ma getting more CM near the end of my cycle than at around OV date
Anyway, I am going away with work again, so I hope I am feeling better tomorrow or it is going to be impossible to sit 3 days in a meeting... And then 4 more days next week!!!! I suppose it is bit harder this time, as we just moved into our new house and I am loving it. We are still sorting through boxes and cat is coming home Thursday or Friday.
Why do I smell cat food everywhere today? (It is an office - there are no cats around, but I can't stop thinking that I am smelling cat food here!!!!!!)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Cant shed any light on the cat food, sorry ginvzt!
My cycle went from standard 28 days to 26 and tbh I thought it was because of my advancing years, I did not get much CM. Now Im notworrying about TTC and after my biopsy, I have returned to 28 days. Could you be worrying and really stressing about everything?
Good to hear things are going okay for you Nottslass, be totally positive about it all, it can influence the outcome. My fingers will be totally crossed that this is your time. Hope it all goes well for you
