Ditto
On to other news - I HAVE THE ALL CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The op was a complete success and I am now, officially cancer free!!! So, come September I shall be bding with renewed vigour!! I mst admit though, following on from Nikys post, over the next months when I cant get pregnant, I am going to concentrate on my diet, and follow a fertility friendly diet, lose a bit of weight and get in shape. When I got preg last year, I was on a similar diet, and I do believe it is a factor in fertility. I mainly avoided wheat and dairy ( I am dairy intolerant) and tbh I felt sooo much better.
Anyhow, any news AnnieM??

Great news lilo,roll on september !!!!!!!!!!0 -
Wonderful news Lilo!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Thanks for thinking of us all Nicki - not really TMI - it sounds like a really good idea!
Please keep on crossing your fingers for me, as there's not much news here, but thanks for asking  I woke up nearly an hour earlier than usual this morning and my temp was a tiny bit up on yesterday's, and is higher than my 2 other months of temp charting so I'm sure it would have been up even more had I woken at my normal time (trust me to wake up at the wrong time when an accurate temp is so important to me!)
I am having a really strong metallic taste in my mouth, but I often get that at the end of the 2ww anyway, so that doesn't really tell me much. If my temp is still up and no AF tomorrow, I might test as FF says tomorrow is my test date... The suspense is awful!!!

Hi All
Great to hear everyones great news...
Gives an air of positivity...
Mine is waining a bit..... BD-ed every 2 to 3 days through the month and then every other day around my fertile time, inc O'day, and my AF was due friday....
Now tuesday and not a peep so being ultra positive thought my luck was in, did a pregnancy test on the friday, BFN.... thought perhaps too early, did an early response test on sunday and still BFN!
Have had no AF symptoms whatsoever, and no sign that its gonna happen anytime soon.... so bummed to not have AF and not have a BFP.....
still.... theres always next month i guess....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
hi all, been poppin in to see how you all are, lilo great news and nikki and anyone else i have missed.
i finally got the job 2 months ago,and have been flat out with work and doing up my home. so we have decided, january we shall start the ivf.
that way we have some maternity rights, with work etc, and hopefully oh will have got a job by then as he was made redundant.
i am soooo broody at the mo, oh is happy to start the process now, but i think we need a holiday this year after the awful few years we have had. also not sure if we will just go ahead and get married abroad, so holiday..wedding and honeymoon in one lol.
what we are wondering, is the time frames...say between consultation...to egg transfer (and all inbetween) for the ivf. 6 months? a year? we have no clue. is it a slow process?. any input appreciated. again well done to all, and stay positive to the others that need it.
lots of baby dust xxx:cool:0 -

From memory we were told in the October we'd need IVF, we immediately said we'd go private ( 3 year waiting list otherwise). We started the cycle in mid Feb with egg collection at end of March. Baby born in Dec.
Good luck.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -

Only about 3 months for us,but we were self funding.0 -
Hello, again. Been working away last week and we are finally moving the house, so a bit busy at the moment as well!!!!
Glad for the good news Lilo!!!! I am so glad for you!!!!!
And Nicky - not too much TMI at all. This what this forum is for!!!!!! Thanks for sharing with us.
Well, we finally got all the test results from GP. Nothing wrong with my blood tests. Nothing particularly wrong with OH sperm either (don't know any more than that, as GP gave the results to OH by phone and I wasn't there). SO, he is going to refer us. Now we are just waiting for him to send us information about what we can do next.
I know, there could be still plenty of things wrong with me (like tubes blocked, etc), but it is rather depressing, that after nearly 18 months and 20 cycles we still haven't get there. Oh well, nothing we can do about that.
At least, with the house move, we actually are getting a cat - we already chose one from Cat protection league and we are going to bring him home next week!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

It does get a bit depressing after a bit doesn't it ,but hang on in there,at least things are finally moving re a referral.
Once you have a diagnosis you'll know what you're up against and will be able to plan your next move.

I know we are progressing to the next stage and it is good to get there. Our GP is very good - he has been there himself, and now has a beautiful baby (saw a photo on his desk). Well, at least he is on our side!!!! I hope we can keep him at the new address - need to call the surgery to change address next week, once we actually start living there.
Oh , and the new family member will be very welcome (named Toby at the moment). This move is taking my mind of ttc and that is good. I do need a break, or I'll get crazy!!!!! Although, house is so big now, that I wouldn't mind a patter of tiny feet around to fill it up a bit more!!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
