If you are BDing every day, you can do no more, so concentrate on going out/having fun with your man - everything you can think of that makes you feel good. The stress can cause you not to get pregnant! Try and believe that one day you will get that baby in your arms - and it will all be worth it.
On the subject of jabs, it also works if you scratch the skin just before you put the needle in - it activates the nerves and the dont notice the needle - it did work for me, and I hate needles too.

You can now buy skin numbing anaesthetic cream OTC - sorry cannot remember what its called, but I'll certainly be investing in some before I start down regging !!!!0 -
:grouphug: to you Gymfriend, we do definately all feel like this at some time or another. My dh has a friend who got accidentally pregnant at 37 and never intended to have children. She spent thre first 3 months moaning about having a baby and now the last 4 moaning about how she feels and how its stolen her social life and it's like a prison sentence already before baby is even here. It used to upset me and still does sometimes but it mainly makes me angry. Don't be scared by pituitary forum, there are some terrible stories but also lots of positive ones from women in our situation. There are some genuinely very poorly people on there but there is also a number of the usual ones in life that want to make it a real drama. For me I only knew about the tumour from lack of periods and now trouble ttc so definately one of the better ones.0

Feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment. When I was told your stomach blows up like a balloon from a HSG - did that mean afterwards? Here I am 2 days later, on silly size antibiotics "just in case" and really uncomfortable with a huuuuuuuuuuge belly. I thought I had trapped wind all afternoon in school, but now I'm not sure. I hope I'm not getting infected....Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

I felt bloated for a few days after my HSG so you're not alone *hugs* Not to worry you but my first AF after my HSG was extremely painful (and I get bad ones anyway)
DH did his final sperm test today so now waiting until 30th to get the results of everything, just keeping positive at the moment, its hard though when I'm surrounded by so many woman that are pregnant0 -
Thanks bunnie that makes me feel a bit better. I'm not bloated this morning, but I ended up staying in bed all last night even though we had guests (oops). Needed to be out flat, and squeezing onto the sofa was not an option. Not looking forwards to the period now, as the last one was a b***h too. But forewarned is forearmed...
Good luck with the results, I'm finding the waits harder than the impregnated ladies at the moment. I guess it's just because things are finally moving, so now I want it all moving instantly.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Hi all
Nice to hear from you Lilo!
Gymfiend - I totally empathise with how you've been feeling. It seems like everyone else on the planet is getting pregnant - we have to remember we are not failures, it's physical and chemical - just our hormones and wombs not quite getting their act together - and we can't control them, no matter how much we want to. It certainly isn't fair, but it's not our fault.
After my rant the other night I've been so busy that I've not had much time to stress about it all really. It's a bit annoying that my temps were quite good the last few day, rising a bit each morning, and then have slumped a bit yesterday and today.
This morning however, I had a little spotting (one very definite spot of old-ish blood and a bit of discolouration to my cm -apologies for TMI). It's probably nothing, so it feels rather cruel that it's happened at 10dpo, and has set my mind racing. I can deal with not being pg again this month, but I don't see why I should have to bear a tantalising glimpse of 'maybe' just putting the boot in!
Hope you're all getting along ok,
AnnieM x0 -
Thanks for all the reassurance...
It's just so demoralising sometimes isn't it? I really must stop obsessing.
AnnieM - that sounds a bit promising? 10dpo is early for period spotting...unless you maybe ov'd earlier? Will be keeping everything crossed for you
Thanks Becs - I heard a nice story today that you might likeI was chatting to a friend of a friend who has a little one, and she asked the usual 'are you thinking about having one' so I said when God grants me one! Now most people change the subject when I say that but she probed, and I told her about the prolactinoma. She seemed really taken aback and told me she had the same condition! It took her almost 18 months from being diagnosed to getting pregnant, but she cracked it & had a fairly smooth pregnancy. It was so reassuring to hear after the downer I've been on this week
jiblets hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend
& everyone else is ok, xxxBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Thanks Gymfriend,
There was a lady on the pituitary forum that I got in touch with just after I was diagnosed. She had to have her tumour removed though due to it's size. She had surgery at Addenbrookes in Cambridge which would be the same hospital as I would if I had mine removed. Anyway her op was good, her af returned a month after then stopped again. SHe discovered it had stopped because she was pregnant and she now has a healthy baby! SHe fell pregnant 1 month after the surgery.0 -
Hi All
Hope you have all been enjoying the lovely sunshine!
I really, really need some advice. AF started yesterday (which was late) with pretty old blood and not very much. Spent last night being sick with agonising AF pains (very embarassing as we had guests over and at first I was worried that I'd poisened everybody). Now very heavy bleeding and fresh blood. Am supposed to start clomid today but not been sure whether to count yesterday as day 1 seeing as it was so strange. Have taken the clomid anyway but still in pain and feeling really sick. Not sure if I've done it right. Been incredibly stressed with my work this week and had 2 migraines. Could this be something to do with it?0 -
My temp has really plummeted today - about half a degree C below the coverline, although I didn't get to bed until 3am and took my temp after 3 3/4hrs of deep sleep at 6:45. I've had a little more spotting that turned out to be not much more than a bit of light brown/pink cm. I guess I'll know tomorrow if I'm out of the running for this cycle - if my temp stays down or AF arrives.
Jojo - Sorry to hear AF is being so horrid to you. How many days late were you? I know sometimes my luteal phase varies by a day either way... I always count the day I wake up with fresh blood as CD1, unless I get 'full flow' before lunch, in which case I count that day as CD1. Hope the clomid goes well!
