as this really will be my last try,

Because it is going to be the attempt that succeeds! Your consultant has been really positive IIRC about your chances of success and it really is your turn for it to happen this time round. Plus if you do succeed the morning sickness will really booger up your fab trip to Egypt so you know for that reason alone it will succeed (a bit like wearing your best white jeans to a posh event will always bring on AF :D )

Will be checking in even more avidly to this thread for news as to how your cycle goes. And keeping all fx!

At the moment The plan is to start down regging about the 13 April with EC about 11th may (if my sums are right).if I leave it any later it'll interfere with our holiday,to Egypt, in June, and believe me I really need this holiday.

Maybe I should book an appointment to see the clinic counseller ?

Aha yes- morning sickness in Egypt - tell me about it! Where are you going? Our trip up the Nile was absoltely brilliant (apart from the symptoms, and the sad end to it). SIL has asked if we want to go with her & her partner later this year and do the Lake Nasser area. we are keen, but of course it depends on the TTC situation - but we can't tell her that!

YES - I think you should see the counsellor - after all it can't hurt and may help! I have another appt with mine this afternoon - hope I don't cry too much as DH is taking me out for a meal tonight for our anniversary, so I don't want red eyes!!!!!

TTC with FI - RIP my 2 MC Angels - 3rd full ICSI starts May/June 2009 - BFP!!! Please let it be 'third time lucky'..... EDD 7th March 2010.

We're not going to "proper" Egypt, going to the red sea - I don't think that DS(6) and walking round admiring ancient artifacts in 100 degree heat would be a fun experience !!!

The HEFA paper work arrived today,so the next job is to make an appointment so sign it and collect our prescription, then its all systems go.when are you thinking of starting ?

    Ps enjoy your meal tonight.

    Hi ladies,

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you nottslass :) PMA - was it Chris Akabusi [sp?] who went on about that in the 90s?

I'm beginning to drive OH mad at the moment, I'm becomming obsessed with having a baby :/ I worry I'm soon going to stop being the fun girl he met and a baby maniac!! We go away at the back end of this month, when I'm due to OV, and my concern last night was how I would drink plenty of water to ensure lots of CM when we were on holiday, as I can't bear to use public toilets. Yep, I have gone mad..! Other concern is not drinking while we're away...argh.

Any news on the OV front Shelly? You might beat me for long cycle length, 37 looooong days!

    xx
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Day 28 today and CBFM went to low so I assume I'm not going to ov this month or have already and the monitor didn't pick it up?
I have no idea. Will just have to wait now and see when AF appears. Maybe in a few days, on time, maybe not till next month now

Last month my cycle was 38 days. Have only had one other as long as that (since I have been taking more notice of cycle lengths) and that was back in May/June of last year.

I do kind of feel though that AF is on the way. Have got a few very slight cramps and I'm sure I saw a tiny amount of spotting yesterday. My cycles usually last between 30 & 33 days so who knows.

    Hi guys,

Talk about emotional rollercoster! I honestly have the upmost admiration for those of you going through the IVF route, it must magnify everything massively! I got my latest prolactin results back yesterday and they've dropped from 850 to 150 so I was ecstatic about that! I got a peak on cbfm on Sunday and we b'd also 2nd peak yesterday but dh wasn't up for it again! I was so upset, completely irrational. I just felt that with prolactin being at it's lowest since being diagnosed that this was our month and he's gone and blown our chances. I just went completely to pieces. I think because prolactin came down the first time then went higher again and now lower since doubling doseage, I feel that it will go back up again so every month it's low we can't afford to waste. I feel so stupid that I'm letting this get to me so much when really we're still starting out on this journey in comparison to so many of you.

Got my HSG tomorrow. I'm a little nervous - the most recent thing a friend said is that it was fine, but uncomfortable and her belly blew up like a balloon! Not something I had considered...

    Wish me luck!

Ah Becs, don't worry, it's ok to be irrational, we're women after all :)

I know what you mean though...but hopefully the double dosage will have done the trick & the prolactin will stay down now. Have you been getting tested regularly as a precaution? It hasn't been mentioned to me in a while...my last test was about 6/7 weeks ago and they haven't suggested if/when they'll test again provided I am having AF.

Chin up, I'm sure your chances haven't been blown, you did the deed in advance which is better than not at all :) Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you this month, xxx

    Good luck for tomorrow jiblets.

I'd advise taking a few wipes with you to clean up afterwards and having a sanitary towel in your knicks ready.
