Hi I hope nobody minds me joining the thread. I have just finished reading this thread and the previous one to try and understand what position everyone is in. We have been TTC for 6 months but as I have PCOS and Dh has "sperm issues" then I don't expect it to happen straight away. We have 2 DS's who are 7 & 8 years old, it took 3 1/2 years to conceive DS1 and then after alot of reading and research we decided to try for DS2 straight away as this is when I would be most fertile.
After much dicussion about what we went through before (investigations, tests, failed IUI's etc) we decided to try for #3. Anyway that is enough about me. Thanks for reading.

Hi TTDB - of course you're welcome here
Good luck, hope everything is a little easier this time. Are you asking anything/doing anything for the PCOS? Also for the sperm issues? I know lots of ladies on here feed their OH's up with all sorts of vitamins to help with sperm issues so I'm sure they'll be along soon to offer lots of advice, xx

sad day here unfortunately as AF arrived..... the positive is I'm ovulating but was feeling really positive this month and then it was a bit of a sharp reminder that it wont be easy....
wish i hadnt lived in this bubble that when we decided to try for a baby it would all happen so easily.... like I would be one of those lucky people who just have to look at each other and !!!!!!!
Also doesnt help that in my new job I am working with a woman who is pregnant, 6 months gone and all anyone wants to do is talk about her pregnancy, and customers ask me on the side what she's having, what they can knit for her etc, and I just keep thinking if we hadnt lost ours, i'd be at the same point, and it hurts and I have to try and keep myself in check....
just sat here after a really long working weekend, vegged and cried.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Can't seem to stop snapping at OH today. Really fed up with myself. and he's the same too. This is what we're like when it's just waiting for a general appointment - this doesn't bode well for if we need proper intervention later on!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

Welcome TTDB!
I'm feeling rather more hopeful than I probably should be this cycle - my chart looks good, and FF's chart match is showing a MUCH better % match with pg charts than I got last month. My temp went up again this morning too.
I hate the 2ww!

Dear all, hoping for some advice...
Had our third meeting with the specialist. Nothing wrong with any of the bloods or the HSG and nothing wrong with OH's swimmers. Makes you wonder why we've been trying for 3 1/2 years without success! However, she has put me on Clomid for 3 months as AF is not spot-on regular. What experience has anyone had taking this? Anything I need to worry about? Not sure how to work out the best time for BDing if the drugs are controlling things?
Any help would be much appreciated.0 -
Hi Ladies.
Nothing to report here just wanted to welcome the newbies!
shelly:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Oh Annie that sounds so promising! Will be keeping everything crossed for your BFP
I'm on CD22 of cycle with a length of...no idea how long! I've still got pain in my lower abdomen and like, a pulling pain down below? I actually don't think we bd'd on the right days because it was a little sparse toward the start of the month as we were too busy arguing! But I will hope anyway...
**Hugs** for CAFCGirl - hope today is a little easier, xx
JoJo77 I'm afraid I've no advice...though I'm sure someone will be in with some soon

Thanks for the welcome.
I am currently trying to lose weight to help with my PCOS, I lost 2lb last week so it's a start. DH is taking multivitamins containing Zinc and selinium (sp?) How long have others TTC with PCOS left it before they visit their GP and would they be interested as I already have 2 children?
Hope everyone is having a good day.

CAFCGirl - snap! I had a good cry last night after AF started, 2 days late. I was determined that I wasn't going to let it get to me this time. That's much easier said than done though!
From now on I've decided that apart from taking the plethora of vitamin tablets I'm taking a back seat as far as ttc is concerned. It's DH's birthday, so I'm getting in a bottle of wine for me, some beers for him, and I've made a chilli chocolate mousse with raw egg for dessert. Oooh what a rebel
I'm no longer going to nag him about the quantity of empties in the recycling bin, and if we don't manage to BD on the right days then tough. As DH said - who'd want a baby anyway? They cry, puke and poo all the time, restrict your social life and drain your finances for the rest of your life, cause no end of worry and somehow learn to argue back when they reach their teens. Why would anyone try for years to achieve that? And it all starts with a twinkle in the eye, 5 mins of pleasure, followed by raging hormones, stretch marks and saggy boobs... not to mention all the other negatives.
So anyhooo - I'm booked in for my HSG next Tues, and DH will do his 2nd sample while we're there. Bring it on0
