hello, just thought write to say, ive just been accepted for a capital one classic with a £200 limit, will put any future increases on here!
  • I started off with a limit of £200. They have just increased it to £400 after the fourth statement.

I have just had fourth statement and still on original limit. Is any increase notified on the statement (in which case i havent received one) or do Capital One write separately and increase it after the statement has been issued?

They always review your account, but for credit limit reviews they are very rare at the moment I think, as this remember is a credit builder card,so to be fair the majority of their customers are classed as a high risk,so think they will be very choosy who to grant higher limits to.
  • Hi,

Don't really post on these boards usually, but I have a cap1 card to get my credit rating back on track, started at £100, went to £200, just had a letter two days ago stating it has just gone up by £1000!

Not had the card 1 year as yet.

I always pay on time, and in full, and now by DD, statments are online.

The first increase was after 4 monnthly statments.

Just thought I would add my 10p worth.
  • Same experience as above poster. Also paid off in full each month.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

I pay my balance off in full each month via direct debit - have just had my fourth statement, and no notification of increase in limit yet....
  • I have had my card two weeks and I still can not get onto their site to register and I want to pay the balance off. They gave me a £200 limit.
