    I have just received the call from my local branch to say my wine isn't coming (order had been cancelled on Tuesday) but that they had "refunded" the service charge!! REFUNDED? Since when do they take money before sending goods?

    PS Just found this on the wine site. Could be relevant?

    Wines in our mixed cases may, on occasion, be out of stock. If this should happen, we will replace any missing products with wines of equal or greater value. If the replacement wine is not acceptable to you, you may return the complete case according to our returns procedure.
  • Well I am quite happy because I also ordered a case of hubby's favourite wine: Brown Brothers Tarrango which was £34.09.

    I had it delivered this morning (after having been told that the rest of the order was cancelled) and I was charged £29.09 as they still applied the free delivery code and the £5 off code I'd used.
    Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

    This just gets better and better. My usual Tesco grocery delivery man has just driven out to me to give me my receipt for the non-existent wine - so now I've got a 5.00 service charge and nothing to show for it. (Although they say it has been refunded) He can't believe what's been going on, and he's done the same for someone else today.

    I ordered on Saturday and received an order confirmation. I'm expecting delivery today between 4-6pm. I haven't received a phone call or email cancelling the order. However after reading the recent postings I checked order status on line. Order cancelled on Tuesday. Surely they should have to contact you. How rude.

    I think I can feel a letter coming onto the Chief Exec. Does anyone have his full name and address - or even his email address. It worked wonders when I emailed Ben V Chief Ex. of BT directly ;)

    All this about not being able to hold the order......... couldn't we just say I'd like to change my delivery date to 01 January 2006 or something? - maybe someone has requested a later delivery anyway......... I'm guessing their order was cancelled as well......what a load of Boswelox™.

    OMG they just get better and better!!!!!!!!!!

    Just rejected a case of wine from my Tesco delivery driver....................12 bottles of WOL, and they've billed me £75!!!!!!!

  • The guy just delivered me a case of 12 bottles, with a receipt for £75.

    Phones Tesco CS, they advised that I should have only been charged £24, and if any more has been charged to my card, they'll refund the difference.

    I can't work out where they've got the £75 from though?

    So you ordered one case of 12 then? When was this? We have order cancelled on site but no call yet.................... delivery expected tomorrow :confused:
