Hi, as this thread is about P2UD and the inevitable small claims court submission, I wonder if someone could share the text (personal info removed/obscured) for a court claim that worked well for you.
My situation is :
* Followed the T&C's
* Sent claims by special/recorded delivery
* Had the first claim paid, by issuing a letter before action, to which they tried to time it so that I made the small claims court claim and paid me at the same time
* Issued a letter before action for the second claim
* About to send off the third and final claim
* Reported each time to Trading Standards
* No communication from P2UD, apart from first claim letter and cheque
If you could share the text it would be useful to many people, as I'm sure there are other people in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance.0 -

I am in a similar position to Born2save , submitted claim correctly for first claim , issued letter before action still no response from P2u , so I am now left with no option but to go down the money claim route , so any info from a successful claim would be useful if any one is able to share it with us , I plan to complete on monday which will be 75 days after the submission omy first claim , They are only 30 days late !!!!0

Hi Born2Save & mikeyboy01,
I have sent you both a private message with the text I used in a successful claim against Phone2UDirect.

has anyone applied for cashback from a phone purchase from phanes2U direct? I have heard bad reviews that they do not pay up.
I got a U600 on vodaphone £35 for 12 months with 12 months free line rental on cashback. I have a strange suspicion that I have been conned. I will be applying for the first cash back in December.Mortgage £120K, monthly overpayment £600, 18 years and £100K saved0 -
Well, I have finally completed my claim online - HMCS Money Claim Online.
Phones2udirect have 14 days to respond to my claim.
I'll post again when I have some news - hopefully it will be good news.
Has anyone been paid out recently, either via the legal claims process or otherwise? I know there are some other threads about legal cases against P2uD but they don't seem applicable to my case - I'm just not getting any response (or money) out of them, even though I think I've followed their T&C's correctly.0 -
footyfan , same position as yourself followed terms and con to the letter still no cash back , as i am the eternal optimist I am waiting untill this episode of postal disruption ends just incase my cashback arrives ,as I have issued 14 day letter of intent which expired during the post office industrial action , keep us updated of progress i will do the same when i go down the money claim route , did you claim for the whole 12 month contract or just 1 cashback payment ?????0

12 months, mikeyboy01, as I have already submitted all three claims with nothing back at all from P2UD.
Will post again.
Good luck with your claim.
For anyone reading this considering Phones2udirect for cashback, some advice - DON'T DO IT.0 -
Do a search on here and on Google. They will use every tactic under the sun in an attempt not to pay up. However, if you follow the rules to the letter (again, use Google) you may be ok.
Personally, I'm not tempted, signing up seems like asking for hassle.0 -
Yeah, I'm thinking I might be regretting it! I was tempted by an unbelievable offer, thing is, if its unbelivable, it usually is! should have listened to my own advise! if its not a well known company im definatly not doing it again! I did cash back with 3 and i got it all back
fingers crossedMortgage £120K, monthly overpayment £600, 18 years and £100K saved0
