I am thinking about taking out a contract with this firm. It is a cashback deal and I was wondering if anyone had any experience of dealing with them. Most importantly are they reliable, and do they pay up if one follows the rules for claiming the cashback.
I have a deal with OSPS coming to an end soon and although I have received cashback ok it has been a bit of a longwinded performance and I would prefer not to have to deal with them again. Their business address is;
Cashbacks
Phones 2 U Direct
Unit B4 Chaucer Business Park,
Watery Lane,
Kemsing,
Sevenoaks,
Kent,
TN15 6QY.
I have read their terms and conditions and they seem pretty standard.

bump, would like to know this as well.

Also, is it possible to port your number onto a new contract with these guys?
  • i too was tempted by their offer of 12mths free for the pretty looking siemens CL75

too good to be true though...if i'm not wrong, take a read of their T&Cs and you'll realise that you have ONLY FOURTEEN (14) DAYS from the date ON THE BILL to send in your bills to claim for cashback...and considering that your mobile telecoms provider takes at least 3-5 working days to generate and send the monthly bills to your home, that will leave you about 5 days (excl weekends) to get everything in. extremely difficult in my opinion =(

i really wanna get my hands on the CL75 for free, but these terms and conditions make it near impossible

    HI ALL
Please check the phones2udirect.co.uk site for cash back terms. They need the bill with in 14 days on bill invoice which is totally impossible. So a risky idea to buy from them.Think Twice if u still want to go ahead

To claim your cashback you will be required to send us your original invoice from your network for the month you are claiming for, which must be received 14 days from the date on the invoice (inclusive), along with a letter requesting the cashback to our address as below:

Thanks for that, I was just about to sign up with them and thought I'd better just check MSE first.... No way would I have been able to meet the 14 day deadline! Cheers to all!!
Don't blame me, it was like that when I got here!
  • I wish I knew all this last week!ordered a Sony Ericsson K300i n 12 m fee line rental (£360 cashback after 12 m).

Received the phone ! the invoice was just a cheap printout. I got worried! Received all the direct debit info, BUT no 'welcome pack' or redemption vouchers.

After reading this thread erarlier on, I packed it all up and posted it back to them! well within the 14 day cool off period.

Been to my bank, no DD taken yet for line rental or insurance.

What do I need to do to ensure NO money is taken out of my account by Orange/!!!!!!2u etc...

Could cancel you DD (but consider implications on your credit file as this may show up) - I have always found that Orange are fine - they may take whatever payment is due, but credit back if you cancel within 14 day period.

I got mine. It took them a while, approx 6 weeks. I can't remember the excuse they used, something about changing systems or something I think.

What email address did you use to email them on because they did reply to me on the following address (albeit after quite a few days):

    cashbacks@phones2udirect.co.uk

Thats the same email address I used. So far I have found everything about this company to be poor. CS is non-existant.

T&C seem to say 45 days after receipt of claim (doesn't say working days but who knows) - that will be in about a week for my first claim so I was waiting till then to chase them.
    I think....
