Amjad wrote:Hi,
I have filed for a County Court Claim No: 7QZ17431 against phones4udirect, as this is now my 10th month and they have very rarely contacted me and when they have they have given me totally bizarre reasons as to why I have been rejected in making a claim.
The claim is for 2 Cashback cheques they owe me for months 6 and 9 for a 12 month mobile contract I took out from them.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!
Will keep you posted
I hope you mean phones2udirect - better check your County Court paperwork. Best of luck!0 -
Hi,
Thanks for pointing that out, yes it is phones2udirect and luckily the typo was in the forum and not on the County Court Claim, thanks again0 -
Hi
I have a 12 month contract with Phones2udirect , and I have claimed my first 2 cash backs by sending my 7th and 10th bill both after 70 day long wait.
Now I am confused which bill to send for final cashback as according to T and C, I have to send (10+3) 13th Bill , and I only will get 13th BILL as FINAL DUE for any calls exceeding the monthly tariff from my NW operator.
Is that the right bill to send for 3rd and final cashback or should I be sending the 12th BILL.
pls advice asap.0 -
Keep emailing them to confirm. I think it is your 13th, but I would play it safe and send in 12th and then 13th, that way you have sent both.
I have taken them to courst and waiting for a reply, they have 14days to reply.
Here is my blog that I will update on the outcome:

I had to put a claim in to get my 2nd cashback as well after waiting for a long time, with continuous requests for updates etc...
The day after they received the county summons, my cheque miraculously arrived minus the £30 court costs. They arrogantly put the date that the cheque was sent a week before it actually arrived. Never seen Royal Mail be that even if it was near christmas.
They break their own terms and conditions at will and then throw the same terms and conditions in the faces of customers making claims. It is not fair or right.
Disgusting and misleading practices. This company doesn't deserve any business.0 -
They paid me soon after my summons. But I also did not get my thirty pounds back. I cant recall the date on the cheque as I have banked it. They are crooks.0

www.saynoto0870.com give the following numbers:
Phones2U Direct 0870 4446383 01732 765427 Customer services
Sales: 01732 765428
Switchboard: 01732 765400
so don't ring the 0870 number - try the others
Good luck!0 -
Hi mccormickja,
I am in the period of waiting for a reply, I applied via the small claims court, and they had 14 days to reply as well as a 5 day issue period.
I called the court and they said that, if I don't hear anything back by Tuesday 6th March I should proceed with filing a judgement against them.
If I get any new info I will post it on here.
From what I can see from your problem I would go for the legal action as they are totally useless.
Cheers

I'd suggest you enclose a copy of the copy and point out that they already have the original.
Keep copies of all communications and send everything recorded delivery - it costs £1.
Make sure you read your terms and conditions carefully and comply with every little twist and turn of their requirements - otherwise they will reject your claim, and all subsequent claims.
Not a friendly company to deal with.

Hi,
You sent in 2 claims. The first was incorrect and we were about to issue a letter, but the second arrived that day, so we held back on the letter until this one was processed. Processing takes up to 45 days as stated in the T&C's.
Regards
