I've been with sky for about 7 months now, paying £66 a month over that time (Sky+ HD, with sports, movies, ESPN)
What are the chances of me getting a half price deal or something if I call up saying this is too expensive? Obviously seven months isn't that long, but haviung paid them over £460 during this time I'm hoping that they will see I'm a good enough customer.
I think you need to sit out the first 12 months... after that I am pretty sure, you can get a deal.
Finally a great offer for me:
Free INST
Free Box
Free HD for 12 months...

If you see my post above I was paying over £70 a month for 12 months and they wouldn't give me anything until I cancelled my contract.0 -
Taken from another thread, this seems to be working for some. AMD

I've only had my Sky for 3 months and I got the call offering free Hd Box, Free Instal and free 6 months HD Subs, I stupidly said I'll have to speak to husband, as it seemed to good, they were to call me back the next night (fri)and unfortunatley I had to go out but on checking my phone they had called me, so I'll wait and see if they call me back today, if not I'll give them a call, as they are bound to have a record of phoning me.0 -

Did you phone them to get it, or did they phone you.
I've still not had a call, I suppose being a customer for 10+ years doesn't qualify me0 -

Hello,
Thought to had my deal here.
I rang up sky about two weeks ago asking about their internet deal which at the time offered free standard installation, £49 for the sky+ hd box and the £50 m&s voucher.
Didn't want to sign for HD or any Sports/Movie pack, just a few basic TV packs and to have just the Base broadband too, oh and i didn't want to pay for the sky box either!
Asked if i can trade the m&s voucher for a free sky +hd box, after a bit of haggling, I got the deal! (had to pay a £18 upfront, then £2 later in the month).
A case of, if you dont ask...0 -
Hi there,
Just tried to phone and cancel Sky on 08442421421, a recorded Indian voice tells me all lines are busy, some music kicks in and after 10 seconds the lines just goes dead. Awful customer service.
Does anyone have a number that gets me through to the relevant department where I can talk to someone from the UK?
Many Thanks,
Nick.0 -
I pay £48.50 a month for Virginmedia L TV (inc Sky Sports), M Broadband. No V+ box or anything. Are there better deals that this out there?
Thanks0
