Forgive me if this is a stupid question.
I have subscribed to sky now for the last 7 years on their full package, currently £43.50 per month which i beleived until recently included a £10 per month charge for the sky+ service which i have. As i understand it the £10 monthly charge has been droped, does this mean my monthly subscription will be dropping down to £34.50 per month?
Also noticed in a recent post that somebody seemed to have got a 12 month half price deal via the simply digital website? i have looked and can find no reference to it? anybody help on this?:rotfl: given up on tesco do a lot os boots offers. but weekends are now in orange trackside b. lol
now a race marshal at silverstone.:beer:0 -

Unfortunately not. As you were a full package subscriber you woudn't have been paying the £10 charge. This was only ever a charge to customers who didn't subscribe to either movies or sports.0 -
I have 20mb BB with Virgin but didn't want to pay £37 a month. I also want sky sports and setanta for the footie. I was offered 2mb BB, XL TV package and sky sports for £45 is this a good deal, or should I be forcing the issue more?0

I phoned today on behalf of my parents. They want Sky+. They already have Sky Digital, been with Sky since 1991. They said they had no offers - all we got offered was the box for £99 plus £30 installation.
If I bought a box from eBay would it just be a simple changeover or does something have to be changed on the dish? Their dish is relatively new, they only moved house 2 years ago. I've been on digispy and seen some people have recommended some Ebay shops for the Sky boxes and just wondered if it would be worthwhile to get from there?0 -

Call them up again and threaten to cancel.
If they still persist then carry on through with your cancellation. Your subscription won't be canceled immediately it will take 30 days during which they will either contact you offering you Sky+ or you can contact them and say your willing to take a reconditioned Sky+ box.Debt free thanks to MSE!

Does anyone have any experience of any deals currently being offered for the V+Box?
Also any savings made recently on XL TV Packages.
I tried retentions but they say my package of XL/2MG Broadband/Unlimited landline calls on phone/Asian TV pack at £76 is the cheapest they can do.0 -

This is a pretty good deal and basically exactly what I want to try and negotiate out of VM next month when my loyalty reduction thing runs out.
Can anyone better £42 for this?
At the moment I get it for £35 with 2mb BB, but its gonna jump up £14 when my loyalty reduction runs out at the end of August.
Cheers,

sky+ and sky Hd have a twin output from the dish, you need 2 wires running from the dish to your box.0

i have had sky for a bout 3 1/2 years
after the first year i said i wanted to cancel and i kept getting half price until upto about7 months ago - when i didnt bother payting the account so they disconneted my sky channels leaving the freesat - only channel i dont get are sky1,2,3, bravo, e4 and scifi - but get all the rest
best off i was getting sky broadband and they didntswitch that off
if i want to watch films or programmes which would have been on tv then just get them off torrents - :T0
