in all honesty, i've had sky for about 7.5 years and have never had a bad word to say about them, not so much as a problem with my set-top box, nothing.

I didn't have problems for years either, until the beginning of April when I had HD put in and my Sky+ moved upstairs. The Sky+ box makes an awful noise now.

For all the amount of people that have problems, there are hundreds of thousands of customers who have none.

Just rang sky. Got to a call centre somewhere in Scotland and was offered - free standard box+installation + 6 mixes+ basic 2mb BB + free evening/weekend calls + free wireless router for £21 per month. When asked about the Sky+ box, i was told £159 for the Sky+ box and £10 per month fee.

When I mentioned that a friend has got free Sky+ box with a waiver on £10 per month starting 1st July. He said it might be the winback department and no such offer was showing on his computer for new customers:mad:

I am very much interested in the Sky+ box. I am ready to pay £49 for the sky+ box but don't want to pay £10 per month (and I am not interested in premium channels or multi room).Has anyone got a good deal recently for Sky+ box for new customers.
