Diamond Resorts-is it a scam?

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the points have been found to be of no value. Certainly no value anywhere near the annual fees that they attract, like flies to **it.

I seem to remember that marleyboy found an eBay sale by a Diamond holder who tried to sell some 5 trillion points for 1p and the auction did not attract a single bid....

I have also had a similar demand for over £4,000 did you get any further advice on this can they actually take you to court?

I have seen previous blogs that nobody is aware of anyone actually been taken to court is this the case?

The letter seems to have no deadlines on although the latest email today gives me 7 day to pay or threat of legal proceeding but via email??

Some real advice would be useful I am tempted tp ignore but what powers do they have I also though once they go legal they cannot demand any more money which would surely terminate your membership which they say you cannot?

I have never come across any internet site which confirms that they have actually taken anyone to court. Can anyone else show that Denno and I are wrong in our assumption?

If not, it shows that this concern are just using scare tactics and are not willing to have the thing tested in a court.

Yep, its all hot air, even they know no court in the land will back them up on such a scam.

Diamond Resorts are starting to struggle with all the members not paying their maintanance fees in just 12 months they have sold off most of benal beach in costa del sol and the latest resort is cala de mar in majorca.I wonder which resort will be next.

This might suggest that this whole thing is simply an asset stripping exercise by DRI while at the same time trying to squeeze as much as possible out of beleaguered ex members who have been thoroughly ripped off. Ex members are now getting regular demands/threats from an equally shady Liverpudlian debt collector called Daniels Silverman. Advice to all - DO NOT PAY THEM A PENNY

As i said on my previous post i wonder how long another resort will be sold it seems Alpen Resort in Austria will be sold in April this year.Thats 3 resorts in a year. Diamond Resorts will be lucky if they still have anything left by next year it looks very grim indeed for the members.

Well since Diamond resorts took over from Sunterra they have sold
1 carlton court in uk
2 most of benal beach costa del sol
3 cala de mar majorca
4 alpen club austria
5 no bookings are taken for 2 more resorts in france and white sands country club for next year that could be 6 resorts in a year.
At this rate there is not going to be much for the members to book,things are starting to bite now with a large amount of members not paying their fees which have doubled since Diamond have taken over and they are wanting out of the club.HOW LONG CAN THEY SURVIVE?
