Diamond Resorts-is it a scam?

Please be assured the DRIP site is full of freely given advice gained from experience of now over 1650 couples who are at loggerheads with DRI over issues that only DRI can address.
There is no requirement to pay anything, however if an individual wishes to contribute to the site fees a small donation can be (voluntarily) made.(£1)
This is solely due to the overwhelming response which overloaded a free web host and needed a larger and "at a cost"host.
The nead to register is so the site administrator( a Volunteer) can ensure that only people with a genuine interest, effected people, access the site.
The only DODGY thing about the site is the antics of DRI in respect of their missold,"Exclusve" overpriced "Club".There is no connection between DRI and the DRIP site other than complaints from the later about the former0 -
Totaly with chris 796... I have been a member of this site since 2010, the only reason we had to move to a new site is we had an overload of new members over 1500 so we all cant be wrong... We have nothing what so ever to do with DRI... Only like minded people trying to find a way out of the mess DRI have put us in,you have to give your details to join, its just to keep out any DRI infiltrates perhaps otheexplorer is one of them.0

ARE YOU HAVING PROBLEMS WITH DIAMOND RESORTS OVER EVER INCREASING FEES,HAVE THEY PASSED YOUR DETAILS ON TO A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY DONT WORRY, DONT PAY, JOIN US AT DRIP drip.enjin.com0

you give your full name and address to help weed out DRI Trolls
we exchange open comments and help each other
given that some people are being threatened by debt collectors a level of security is a plusIf you can't take responsibility for it, you'll always be a victim.

I am confirm that this is a genuine offer, I am a member of Diamond and have been for over 15 years. They offer these special deals fairly frequently with the purpose of trying to get you to buy timeshare, I have been to many as a club owner. There is no hard sale but you can get sucked into the excitement of the offer, just stick by your guns if you are not interested in taking up the offer. The resorts are great, lots of activities and good quality accommodation and the offer is definitely worth taking up if you are looking for a cheap holiday.0

CARDSFORFUN0,so glad you are enjoying your holidays with DRI,we were paying over £1000 per year for our timeshare plus RCI exchange fees, last year on a return to our timeshare we found the place full of non timeshare members they had payed £320 per appartment, they had booked with expedia and late rooms,it was then we surrenderd our membership back to DRI no way was we paying fees when they are selling rooms to the general public, this was a members only club when we joined, thats why we joined,we now enjoy quality holidays in timeshare appartments at a fraction of the maintenance fees, last one in may £289 appartment for four with expedia... timeshare is now a joke.0

I’m certainly not a DRI infiltrate. I’ve been a member of GVC which changed to Sunterra then Diamond resorts. I’ve been trying to get out of this dreadful timeshare since Diamond took over. I’ve had some great holidays with this timeshare but since halfway through Sunterra’s ownership of the Company and now Diamond, it’s virtually impossible to book a holiday of your chosen resort, and the ‘double points’ if you book within three months of going on holiday is a joke. It’s also got very expensive for what you now get.
There, does that sound like a DRI infiltrate?
But I do get very suspicious of this DRIP site requesting my name, address etc, and since posting my comment, certainly don’t agree with your reasons; infact makes me more suspicious. Reason; the DRIP site sounds like a site set up my Diamond to collate all your information. What good has come from your site? There should be no reason to give your full name and address. “you give your name and address to keep out the DRI Trolls” what a load of rubbish, how do you know who the ‘DRI Trolls’ are? YOU DON’T.
Don’t be fooled into joining this DRIP Site.0 -

Of course Slugs (post 593) agrees with you, by the sounds of it you both work/set up this DRIP site.0 -

First of all, why “respecting the "newbie be nice" message”? Am I not allowed to air my views/concerns? I have an opinion on the DRIP site and that is one of suspicion. Read my above comments and you will see why.
Yes I joined on that day and posted a comment, Why? I was looking for information on Diamond resorts and help in getting out of it (see my above comment). I’d heard of the DRIP site and had a look at it but became very suspicious of it when it won’t even let you read the posts without first joining and giving your full name and address. There is no reason why you should have to give out that information and I certainly don’t except the reasons as to why you have to give them (see post above).
Now seeing some of the comments below my original comment, I’m even more suspicious.
Just an opinion.0
