Someone said somewhere that they found it easier to peel them and wrap them in cling film before freezing.

Hello Everyone
Late on today as I've been out reporting this morning
Got another free pole dancing lesson tonight, and I'm taking someone from work which should be soooo funny
Got a couple of hours overtime this week, so that will be much needed. Should be paid tomorrow hopefully
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Siting at my desk in my lunch hour so thought I'd come on to MSE for a bit - far too cold to go outside - having said that the toilets are in another bit of the building and you have to go outside to get there  - but won't start on that moan.
Had porridge this morning and walked up to work again - having to walk past my car every morning is really taunting me - but keep thinking of the health, environmental and financial benefits.
Tonight it's flan, chips and beans for dinner so not much OS scope there - but Wednesday is our new shopping day and so will have a look in cupboards etc and have a think what we can have.
Want to make OH a birthday card for next week so might start on that surreptiously (sp) tonight - at least now I've got the internet at work I can use it in my lunch hour and check emails before I leave so I won't be reaching for the lap top as soon as I get in the door - just browsing online shops for things for OH.
Oh and I really really must check all our book shelves for anything I can try on amazon. Really want to have a go - but don't have many books here  - think I might have to raid parents house over Christmas

I'm cooking a whole chicken in the SC today which I have never done before so I hope it comes out OK. I have done whole joints of pork, lamb and beef in it so I think it will be OK. Will have that with potatos, peas and gravy. Then I will make something with the leftovers from it tomorrow.
Just about to have cheese on toast with Worcestershire Sauce on top of it which is lovely.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
Hi everyone
Am at work at the mo but am then planning to hit Argos to take advantage of 20% sale they've got on at the moment for one or two more bits for the small person. Don't think I shall do a lot more as am full of cold and will probably hit the sack early again. HM pizza and garlic bread for tea.
Cheerio

I had a fantastic morning in town - managed to get DH some pj's for xmas - had a voucher from an online survey and some nectar points and ended up paying £1.04 in cold hard cash! Popped into boots - had £4 odd in points on one card, £4.90 on another and a £5 voucher - managed to get some Hamma bead sets for DD's at £3.99 each and a boozy pressie for DH and paid the grand sum of £0.78. Don't you love free things!!
Jacket spuds in the oven for DD's, chicken and veg soup in the SC for DH and I later when he gets back from "ooop north" I've got half a pot of cream that needs using up so that will probaly go in the soup to make it really scrummy, served with Lidl part baked rolls (which I will fully cook of course!) Cos they're cheap but tasty and handy for a standby.
Got some more pressies wrapped this afternoon and then spent a painstaking couple of hours cutting out fabric to make DD1 a really cute dragon, made of lots of circles it's going to take ages to put together but looks great. DD2 is getting a "moose" if I can remember where I put the bit of fabric I wanted to use!

Almost stopped sneezing, sent off my sample this morning so can now start taking the antibiotics for my bronchitis.
Lousy night, woke just after 1215am and did not get back to sleep until after 5am, got up at 11am.
I took a beef and bean casserole out of the freezer last night, made dumplings, we have no spuds left, carrots and brussels, I made a chocolate fudge cake last week, a bit of it left so that will do for sweet. trying not to eat too much dairy.... makes catthar? worse......
Need to do a shop but it will have to wait until the fog has cleared, frost I do not mind, but fog will do my lungs no good at all, also need to go to the library have read the 8 books I got last week......intend to stay in until later this week, maybe out Friday if I feel better, will haave had 3 days medication by then and hopefully the nose will have stopped streaming......and head will feel a little less like a balloon stuffed with cotton wool.
