Hi Yall, I'm just not getting the time to post on here as much as I used to. Miss yall tho!
Mrs MATH is still temping, the money is !!!!!! but it eeks out the redundancy. MATHLETTS are up to their necks in rehearslas for Christmas shows, nativities, carol services, and music events. I'm up to my neck in costumes, music, words for Christmas shows, nativities, carol services and music events:D They're ferryed from one venue to anothe leaving so much dropped glitter that my car resembles a grotto on wheels.
Currently up to a couple of hours a day paid2click/read/answer. I had better get paid for this stuff or I will run amok and do something outragous (watch this space);)
I'm off to close up our holiday home next week (sob) while Mrs MATH looks after the MATHLETTS. I havn't been 'alone' since Labour got back in power so it will be a bit weird and a bit exciting. I sharn't be doing Ol'Style while I'm away so watch out Chippy, Indiany and Chinese Takaewayey:j

Afternoon
I've been out and about all morning. Not in pain after pole dancing this week which is nice.
Laddered my tights today and I didn't have a spare pair so had to make a mad dash to the shops. £2.49 for three, which I didn't think was bad

Afternoon everyone!!
I've been to pick up my new car todayLOL. It was supposed to be cannablised for parts for mine but it's in better nick than my car and all the central locking works and it even has a CD player. Thanks Dad
Complete freebie from him as he got himself a Peugot 205. Only trouble was the brakes went on the way home and I had to drive 9 miles with no brakes.
Now have a headache with the tension and am just going to make chicken curry for tea and then head off to bed I think.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

MATH, I'm afraid I misread this as "Mrs MATH is still tempting"

Hi everyone
Gosh, everyone must be very busy. It's quite quiet today, isn't it in here?
The children were better behaved today - thankfully. It probably helped that the head sat in on my numeracy lesson. They were angels (and why aren't they like that when it's just me on my own?????). Ooooh, and the head thought that I had good "subject knowledge". Now, I know that I'm ok, but we've been doing a subtraction method this week that has been completely new to both me and the children. Anyway, if it's her that decides on supply teaching within the school, then I'm not going to argue.............
I'm going for a chat tomorrow afternoon with the head of the school that has offered me the job for after Christmas. This is just to iron out their expectations of me (as a newly qualified teacher) and my expectations of them (as a school with children in!). It's a shame that it's only for 2 terms, but at least it's a guaranteed job and I'll get paid over the holidays....... whereas with supply teaching, if I don't work then I don't get paid!
I've just hung a load of washing out on the airer. Think I need to do a towels wash next. I've still got an ironing pile the size of Everest - and growing! At least if I do towels next then I won't have to iron them.
Supper tonight will be ostrich burgers, from the local farmers' market, in sesame bread buns (reduced in co-op) and with some peas. Mmmmmm, yum, yum! Plenty of tommy k to go with it too.
Anyway, onwards and upwards.......... suppose I'd better make that Everest of washing into only a Ben Nevis.

Blimey this thread's quiet today.
Just back from work - no OS today at all - even bought my lunch - but I feel it's more important to eat properly than go without because I haven't had time to sort something out
Off to the supermarket tonight - think OH wants to try Sainsburys as Tescos was very empty last Wednesday and we're limited on when we can go during the week now.
Didn't manage to get my shopping list done last night so going to do it now.
Will get something to have for dinner at Sainsburys I think and try and do something useful when I get back tonight :rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

They are in the living room with a "nest" on the sofa watching t.v. - made them drinks and a bacon and cheese omelet and came through to spend some time on here.
Dishes are in Dwashy - DH is painting the hall - and I am trying to wake myself up by slurping coffee.
Went to Primark yesterday and got 3 jumpers and beige cord trousers and pack of knickers for £24 :j
Really pleased - have not dared try on trousers yet!
Strange without Queenie and Curry Queen - regards to them if they pop in.
Hi everyone. I don't often post on here but do read and enjoy all your postings.
Where are Curry Queen and Queenie? I think I've missed out on the news?
Not a good time for me. I spent today getting some last minute Christmas gifts and things I needed as I have to go into hospital tomorrow to have a breast lump removed. Be in for a couple of days. Not looking forward to this at all and scared of what they might find.
Keeping my fingers crossed for good news.
Hope everyone has a nice evening and that the Christmas shopping is going well for all.
Think of me tomorrow and wish for the best. Thanks .. Maisie0 -
Think about the only bit of OS I have done today is making a very nice yummy rice pudding in the slow cooker.
Oh and not putting the heating on but using a hot water bottle (bad back anyway) and freebie fleecy blankets I have wrapped around my legs.
Husband has gone out to delivery a birthday present and then catch up with a friend so I get to be home all day and all night by myself. Ho Hum.
Yours
