I was able to sign up through quidco for Scottish power fixed last night and have it track even though the link wasn't available. It seems like it might still work today.....
1. Go through quidco and go to scottish power.
2. Click "refresh" several times until the damned thing loads....
3. Go through the silly comparison thing but don't ask to see only capped tariffs, leave it at the default of showing all tariffs.
4. When all the tariffs are on screen, copy and paste http://www.theenergypeople.com/apply...ariffId=153849 into the address bar on your browser (right click on the blue link there, select copy. Go to your address bar, right click and paste).
You should now be taken to the application form for Fixed until 2009 tariff.

I tried but couldn't get the 2 screens at the sanme time as one kept crashing. Instead I went via Quidco to the SP website, then clicked onto the homepage and applied from there. Just have to wait and see now. Bit annoyed as I had decided this morning I would apply tonight then BG announced their price rise and everybody panicked (including me!).
Blimey Quidco tracked ! Not validated yet mind.0 -

I phoned 0800 400 200 option 3 at about 11am today to ask about my cashback, because the site kept crashing. Got through after 5 mins on hold. The operative said they're very busy and that registrations taken over the net will take about 48 hours to process, at which point they'll send out a confirmation email. Before then the CS staff don't have any details on their system to look into the status of applications.0

I've decided to email them as if it weren't for their technical difficulties i.e. the website crashing continuously when trying to switch (from yesterday afternoon) and the telephone lines continuosly cutting me off most of this afternoon, I would have the deal!!! I tried the quidco thing but the url didn't work............it's so frustrating!!0
