I'd get the details on that before commiting myself.
o2 have in the past let all their customers upgrade to the latest Iphone when released, you pay the full retail price of the phone and they let you upgrade, and extend your contract to 18 months.
They only did that when the 3g came out, when 3gs was launched they asked customers to pay off existing contracts.0 -

Another reason to get the details in writing before commiting yourself...0 -
severely dissapointed with the vodafone contracts. think im going to plump for o2 given the unlimited net. not too fussed about being tied up for 18 months....the 4g might have a few new features but i can wait 6-12 months given how long i'e waited to get an iphone!0

do 02 offer friends and family on the iphone 3gs? if so what tariffs are people on and paying?
i think i have read they do, which means the normal £35/month at 30% off makes it £25/month.0 -
Do you mean the o2 open thing?
That used to give a 30% discount but they have just changed it to a cashback deal instead. Although the cashback deal does include the iphone 3gs where as the old 30% deal didn't, just the 3g.0 -
yeah there's o2 friends and family and then open thing, which some companies have as a perk
so what cash back deal does 02 open thing offer onthe 3gs?0 -
best i could manage was:
32gb in black (refurb)
£35 per month (tried to get £30) 18 month contract
£100 for the phone which will go on my next bill
will be here tomorrow (post allowing)
i did ask about some of the deals others have been getting on here, and he said i have been giving some of those deals out, but he said that he could only offer certain deals on certain days, and it can change daily what can be offered, and if i waited, and tried in a few days then those better offers might be back on, but then again it might even be more, its a risk i wasnt going to take, it actually got to the price i got from £175 for the phone originally so not to bad really. to get that i asked to reduce my monthly fee to £30, and thats what he came back with.0 -

oops sorry for got to mention

I just upgraded today to an iPhone with Orange (outside end of contract). I currently have Orange Loyalty Line Rental Discount of 20%, whilst they would not increase it to the max amount of 25% by renewing my contract this time, they did let me apply the current discount to the iPhone tariffs. Nice one!
I knew that there was a mad reason why I kept renewing my contract with Orange all these years!!
Hope this is useful info.
i read orange don't give discount to iphone tariffs
must be the only few who has there0
